California burro sooooo good

Stopped in on Saturday afternoon about 3:30. Only one person in line, but there was a steady stream of people coming in to order. I had the California burrito and it was definitely as good as all the reviewers had written. Tortillas are homemade which is a big deal to me when it comes to high... read more

Best California burrito I've ever had. There are FRIES in the burrito and it's a huge portion, lots of bang for your buck. Stop thinking and just go.

I am quite certain that they make the best california burrito in the world here! I could eat it everyday.

Stopped there on a drive by after golf at an upscale resort club. So glad we decided to hit the Coast Highway and find a local dive. First clue was the place was nearly packed with locals at 3 in the afternoon. We sat outside on the sidewalk at one of three round stone tables. Tacos and enchiladas were brought... More

Cash only and not very charming interior but good food. Service was pretty fast with a steady flow of customers. Convenient spot. Eating outside was nice. We had chicken quesadillas, the taco/burrito combo plate#6 and the 5 taco plate for our kids (age 4 and under). We enjoyed the food - the chicken was nicely seasoned in the quesadilla but... More

I had the chimichanga that was very good. So much food for a little money. There is no way to finish your plate.

Was super busy but I didn't see the big deal. The "hot" sauce was mild. I wouldn't go back. In my opinion it was authentic Mexico without the flavors that make Mexican food so delicious.

Just happen to pass by and thought we would try it. Burritos were great and the fish tacos very tasty. Give them a try, very authentic and at a good price.

Nice little shop and decent looking, wide selection of food and cheap prices. food quality seems good but the flavor just is not there that I expected from a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant .

Stopped by this place on a whim on our coastal drive from Carlsbad to San Diego on vacation. One of the best meals we had the whole trip! The Bomb burrito is fantastic, it's huge so split one if you aren't starving! Also tried the shrimp ceviche, it was excellent as well but couldn't finish it after the Bomb, that... More
