This French-ish bakery serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Line up by the pastry display case and work your way to the register. The order is delivered to the table quickly, but service stops there. The food ranges from OK to very good. The paninis and soups are good, as are the quiches and salads. Dinners less impressive. Outdoor seating on... More

The salads were exceptionally well presented and quite large. The mushroom crepes were also excellent. The bakery looked very good, but we did not have room to try anything. Enjoyed sitting outside.

Love this place. I love to sit on the large patio and share a pastry with a friend. Great place to people watch. Very relaxing.

The Lumberyard in Encinitas is a fun location to browse. St. Tropez is a lively spot to enjoy a bite to eat. Indoor seating if the weather is a little overcast, but a lovely large outdoor patio for a bright sunny day in this beach-side community just north of San Diego off of I-5. Enjoy!

Wide variety of pastries, fresh breads and good coffee. This is in a courtyard setting and the smells make you hungry. Lots of AM traffic to get freshest baked goods. Sometimes a bit pricey but if you like fresh pastry, some of it French, this is the place.

Tis is a very cute little bistro located in the Lumberyard shopping center. There is very little seating inside, so plan on sitting outside. They have nice food and it is a local hangout. Worth a try!

We love coming here with our children. The food is wonderfully authentic and the desserts are amazing. Unfortunately since we went GF about 2 years ago, there aren't many options for us on the menu so we've not been in a while. Maybe someday they'll get on board with the GF community???

Conveniently located right on the 101 in Encinitas, outside or inside dining, my fave place for breakfast

The place claims to be French, but no serious French cook would claim these kind of pastries or meals. The pastries are loaded with tons of sugar - it's a no-no from the French perspective. We ordered beef bourguignon- it was just overcooked beef, not even a hint of any burgundy vine. It could be a nice place to seat,... More

This is a great spot to meet someone and have a meal or just a latte, fruit and pastry. There is a large outdoor patio adjacent and on the sunny weekend mornings it is packed! It's very relaxed and many people bring their dogs. It's good for singles, couples, friends, families.
