Great food, large portions, great price.

Went to the Encinitas Café for lunch and some ordered breakfast. This restaurant has been in Encinitas for a long time, sometimes under a different name (the coffee mill ). The location is very close to Moonlight beach. The setting is 50s style and this is where the locals go for food. The service... read more

My husband and I had 2 meals at this restaurant and each time the food was good. This restaurant offers good home cooking and one of the things I love about this place is the small town feel. Both times locals were 50% of the patrons which to me means the food is well priced, consistently good and the service... More

do not eat at this cafe. We met some friends for breakfast and I ate the worst waffle(it should be named the AWFUL) ever, including frozen store bought waffles. It was not even completely cooked. The 'awful' cost $5.75 and I should have had a red flag go up when the restaurant charged $.75 extra for real maple syrup. I... More

Great fresh food made to order! Great service. Can't say anything bad about this place. Try to fresh made milk shakes on the old style spindle mixer. They roast their own turkey breast!!

Although it was dinner time, I had a terrific Greek omelet. Good service, a good selection of items, comfortable booths.

We had a very nice breakfast with large servings. Service was fine. We liked Diner 101 (across the street more) for breakfast --- but Encinitas Cafe was also very nice and we recommend either.

Easy cafe to get in and out of. Family friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Variety of food. Banana bread was awesome. Waitress was awesome as well. I wish I could remember her name.

Love this place! Good home cooking. Nice friendly people. Formerly, Dorothy's Coffee Mill. Locals have been going there for decades, that should say something.
