Friendly and laid back. Yummy breakfast. We had Bennys - florentine and bacon avocado. Fresh and delicious. Great service.

Stopped here when the 101 Diner was closed. It's a cute café, the food was good, I enjoyed the hot beef sandwich which was filling. One thing I liked was they had a guy just running around refilling drinks. I never take pictures of my food but did this time, it looked so good.

Great food and friendly service in a landmark spot! Felt like a regular on my first visit. Be sure to try he Acai bowl. Had fish tacos with tasty fried fish and great beans on side.

This was a nice find late at night. The staff was friendly and very helpful, especially considering we had 5 little people who were very tired. The food was typical cafe food but well done and tasty. We appreciated that they worked with us to get all the kiddos fed.

This is your typical downtown beach-y diner, that looks like it's been there forever. This is my go-to breakfast place when in the area (I live about 1.5 hours North). It's lack of character is it's character. I stopped here with a friend for breakfast on a Saturday morning. After a short wait, we were lucky to get a table... More

This is a very laid back/beach cafe locate at the center of Encinitas. The servers are very good and attentive. You have a great choice of breakfast items in this location. The breakfast portion are huge but was little disappointed with the eggs benedics size See pictures. and the food was overcook and burned.

Nice little place with good food and friendly service. We just wanted somewhere for a light lunch at an affordable price. Encinitas Cafe fit the bill perfectly. We recommend the ham eggs benedict.

Old school dinner. Reasonable prices. Decent service. Waitress forgot my wife's drink and finally got host person to get it for her. Worst chicken fried steak I have ever had. Left most of it and I usually leave nothing. Won't return!

Although the wait was long (40 minutes), we enjoyed our breakfast and the servers were all very efficient and personable.
