Delicious with commanding bay views.

Not the most affordable but really good. Great views of the Bay and the San Francisco skyline. Very friendly service. You'll find the popular options as well as the less known tripes or chicken feet.

We joined my son's family on the Saturday after Christmas for Dim Sum. We had gone one other time with them at another place 2 years earlier. This place has a great view of Bay Bridge and is very bright. The different dishes were each tasty and served hot and fresh. Get there early because a long line forms.

Not usually a Chinese food enthusiast but once in a while I make exceptions – especially if the place sits at the end of an estuary overlooking San Francisco Bay. This is probably the only place I will visit again and again. A bit on the noisy and crowded side but it’s well-dressed – the décor is unmistakably elegant oriental.... More

We came across this restaurant while strolling the Emeryville bayside path. A well presented but not exceedingly gaudy place you are greeted with the tanks of live seafood - a good sign in our experience. This proved to be true as we sampled some of the best yum cha we have ever had (this rivals places we have eaten in... More

Ate lunch solo twice in one week beginning of Aug., 2015. Good cuisine but pricey. $41/one person, no alcohol!! That's some expensive dim sum. I drank tea($1.60), had several choices which average about $8/plate, very high price point... And thought, eh, I can take or leave the view. They should offer a discount program for neighbors living nearby to encourage... More

East Ocean has very good Dim Sum, not the best, but very good. What it does have is probably the best restaurant view in the entire San Francisco Bay. The entire outer wall is windows and looks directly at the Bay Bridge and the City. On the food: this is not a Dim Sum cart restaurant. There is no one... More

I have been invited to this restaurant by one of my Chinese/American friends I worked with in Shanghai/China. We both like Seafood and Dim Sum, etc. We were NOT disappointed! Food was very good and service friendly and efficient. From our table we had a great view to the sea with a great sunset! Was a great dinner!

This place had a wonderful variety of dishes. We ordered by checking what we wanted, we got way to much food but it was fantastic. The pork buns, BBQ pork, roasted duck, chicken feet plus so many more offered great flavors and variety. I enjoyed this immensely.

We happened upon this place because we were done (very tired kids) and we wanted something good. It is worth the trip. The staff was very good, very friendly, and helpful. The food is very good and pretty authentic. Think tapas. In other words, family style
