Wonderful food, wonderful view,crummy atmosphere

I have expeienced ALL of the good Mandarin, Cantonese and Shanghainese restaurants in the Bay Area. For seafood, this is the best. Really, now a days I would recommend this restaurant without ay reservations. The Black Cod and other seafood dishes are excellent.

Had a big family gathering there for Christmas dinner. Server recommended a great Australian lobster dish that was perfectly cooked. Definitely one of our favorite Chinese seafood restaurant after the visit.

My son and daughter-in-law took a few out of town relatives, including me, to this beautiful spot sitting right by the Bay. My D-i-L, being a smart girl, had made reservations for our party of 6 and, consequently, we were able to bypass the waiting crowd and get right to our table. The restaurant had just opened for the day... More

Have eaten many times over many years with various outcomes, but current management team is doing a great dim sum prep with a dynamite view of SF Bay and SF city along with myriad choices and a few surprises I enjoyed, like chicken knuckle cartilage fried bites, or steamed seasoned beef rib sections. Har Gow and steamed BBQ pork buns... More

This is a regular lunch spot. The Dim Sum is fresh, hot and well prepared. Service is good, sometimes great. You order off a menu and it comes fast. Side dished of noodles are very good. Order some great teas like po le. Dark and inky to cut some of the fat.

This is what I miss living in a city that has a very small Chinese population! My cousin's wedding reception was held here and then we came back for dim sum! If you want real deal good Chinese food, here it is! Of course, I am sure there are a few others also in the San Francisco area unlike where... More

This was truly one of the highlights of our Bay Area visit. We were staying with family in August for a wedding the night before and had to give it a try. The part we didn't look forward to was fighting the crowds. People come in droves to eat dim sum here. The wait was easily 40 minutes at 11:00... More

When people line up 45 minutes before the doors open for Dim Sum on the weekends, then, you know the food is good! The "foodies" from Asia have HKEO on radar as a Destination for great "New Chinese Food" - clue for us locals - as some of their Signature Dishes, can't be gotten elsewhere and others are behind the... We eat here whenever we are in the area and went early (10 am) on a Sunday. We were seated quickly and set to work checking out the dim sum choices. You do not order from carts here. An appetizer portion of roast duck is $7.95 and so moist and juicy, you may want seconds. A new item is truffle... More
