I knew there had to be a better spot than Denny's for late night! And sure enough we come across this Gem! I was stunned by the menu and enjoyed everything about the place. A must Eat while visiting Oakland area

I gave this place a try on a recent trip to the Bay Area. After reading that they had been feature on the Food Network, I figured I couldn't go wrong. I loved the onion rings and my burger would have been much if they used their own special sauce, not regular package mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup. I wanted to... More

I went with two friends and their breakfast came and they ate it and I was left waiting. 10 minutes - 15 minutes- 20 minutes . We asked three times were told "it is coming now", only never to arrive. As we were leaving the waiter told us it would be ready in 5 minutes. This is only breakfast. 40... More

Small hole-in-the-wall place near Pixar which made it even more exciting. The wait was maybe 10 mins during Sunday brunch (around 1045am). The booths are small and uncomfortable as they don't have cushions but the food is very delicious and the portions are huge! One of us ordered the chorizo plate which he found tasty and a tad spicy. The... More

We were in Oakland to see a concert at the Fox Theater and went in there for dinner before. The food was excellent as were the drinks. People watching was optimal, wait staff was terrific. Everything tastes really homemade and fresh! It is quite the gem of a restaurant.

Doesn't matter what you have--the specials are all great--you will be happy. Super trendy. Think one of the guy's from Green Day owns it? Not sure. Super trendy and hip. Service Excellent. Salads wonderful. Breakfast rules. Great to go. Cool to hang. Awesome!

We stopped for brunch on a hot sunny Monday morning. The restaurant is across the road from the attractive Town Hall and also the corner of the Pixar Animation Studios (with a large model of one of the Finding Nemo seagulls looking down from the roof) We sat outside. I had a plate of Breakfast Burritos and my wife had... More

Our food was great here. The french toast with almonds was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My only complaint was our waitress. We sat at the counter, since the place was packed (the tail end of the lunch crowd) and our waitress was also the cashier. She seemed a bit overwhelmed by her job and things took... More

Visited on a Sunday at 11AM - got seated quickly, food was fantastic, great portions, pricing was fair, parking was easy enough and the food was fantastic. I said that already but it really was that good. Will definitely visit again.

Rudy's offers a quality, tasty, and reasonably priced breakfast (and lunch, too). There is fairly good parking nearby, and if you can find the time to hit it when it's not rush hour, you'll quite enjoy yourself. It can get very busy on weekend brunch times. Good polite service, fast delivery of your meal and a great collection of barbie/ken... More
