We recently held my son's rehearsal dinner at the Brick House in Elk Grove. We had a fairly large party (41 guests) and the Brick House accommodated us with no problem. This is an old style dinner house; table cloths on the tables, a few booths for seating, otherwise an open table seating arrangement, high ceilings etc. etc. I can't... More

We are luck to love close by this place. We have always had great service and food. Large portions so either share or come hungry.

Excellent meal incredible pasta . Best calamari appetizer I've had anywhere. Only complaint is they made us wait to be seated and suggested we wait in bar. When we finally got seated there were MANY open tables. Felt like they just wanted us to buy drinks.

It is worth a drive from Sacramento to Elk Grove to dine at the Brick House. The place reminds you of a dinner house in the '70s or was it the '60s with a big dining room, high ceilings, framed prints on the walls and lots of table cloths. The menu is very large and has a variety of choices... More

Today we celebrated a birthday lunch at the Brick House in Elk Grove. We had the split specials; i.e., half a salad or soup, with half a pasta or sandwich. The price is so reasonable, and the food is delicious! I had a pear, pomegranate, mixed greens salad with various goodies in it, like nuts, craisins, and blue cheese. The... More

With the invasion of chain restaurants in EG, the Brick House is a wonderful surprise. Located in Old Towne, it's bustling and mob-crowded on weenend evenings. good parking is hard to find unless you get there before 6:00. The bar is hopping, and lots of guests opted for appetizers and drinks. The menu is wonderful - lots of meat, pasta... More

I've lived in Elk Grove all my life, and it took me turning 30 before I discovered this gem. My friend arranged a little surprise birthday brunch for me at Brick House. The staff were great. They were so patient with us and kept those mimosas flowing. I ordered Eggs Benedict and it was very good. One of my eggs... More

Consistent quality and service at Birckhouse! We have dined here at least 6 times and have never been disappointed. Huge portions, family style is the way to go-soup and salad are always good. Last visit had the ribs for the first time and they were fantastic with vinegar based bbq sauce. Fish and pasta family had were very good. We... More
