My parents reserved a private room to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. We had wonderful attentive service and every special need was met. The woman from North Carolina whose name has escaped me (I am so sorry!) made all the arrangements. She wouldn't allow my mother to cancel when things got a little overwhelming, because she felt that my mother... More

We ate here while passing through the area at dinner time and the area and this place were very nice, clean and inviting. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. My wife had the snapper and said it was really good too. Décor is nice and homey. They have a large bar area and large sitting area for the restaurant. The... More

The eggs bendict is very nice - the eggs fluffy and tasty. The wait staff is attentive and patient. Anice place to spent a Sunday morning talking with a friend.

Very good food and selection - a little pricy. Would eat here again. Need to change the décor - chairs are very uncomfortable with the wrought iron backs.

The restaurant was comfortable and the food was good. There was a large menu with some interesting choices. The appetizers appear to be new twists on some very common things. We had short ribs in a sort of soy based "barbecue" sauce with a "dry" cabbage slaw(which may be an acquired taste). Although they were not grilled, perhaps baked? they... More

They do a great job at this slightly upscale eatery. The host was personable, the waitress attentive, the manager checked on us, and the food was plentiful and high quality, if a little pricey. You get what you pay for.

Atmosphere/Location: Great location in a very pretty plaza. Food: Not my favorite place for food. In fact the food was just mediocre. Nothing fancy or tasty about it. Our friend got eggs benedict and they forgot the hollandaise sauce. My crab cakes were just okay and someone else in our group got an omelette with avocado and they cooked the... More

Always feel welcomed here. The one in El Segundo is quiet, and one is able to talk here. Many other restaurants in that center make conversation next to impossible. The Marmalade Cafe in Palos Verdes is also beautiful, quiet, and the food is excellent. For some reason, we always have lunch or dinner there, and breakfast in El Segundo. Their... More

The Marmelade Cafe in El Segundo is one of those places where we know that we will experience tasty, well prepared food in comfortable surroundings. The regular menu is extensive, and there are seasonal items in addition. Last night I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which I thoroughly enjoyed. Service is always good, The place is large, but it is... More
