They do a great job at this slightly upscale eatery. The host was personable, the waitress attentive, the manager checked on us, and the food was plentiful and high quality, if a little pricey. You get what you pay for.

Atmosphere/Location: Great location in a very pretty plaza. Food: Not my favorite place for food. In fact the food was just mediocre. Nothing fancy or tasty about it. Our friend got eggs benedict and they forgot the hollandaise sauce. My crab cakes were just okay and someone else in our group got an omelette with avocado and they cooked the... More

Always feel welcomed here. The one in El Segundo is quiet, and one is able to talk here. Many other restaurants in that center make conversation next to impossible. The Marmalade Cafe in Palos Verdes is also beautiful, quiet, and the food is excellent. For some reason, we always have lunch or dinner there, and breakfast in El Segundo. Their... More

Dined here prior to catching a flight out of LAX. It's in a strip type mall about 2 miles from the airport entrance. There were three of us and we all ordered the Cheeseburger so I can't comment on any of the other dishes, although the menu had several items I will try the next time I'm here. Seating was... More

Had dinner here while on a business trip. Prices are reasonable, food was tasty. It is an open cafe, maybe suited better to breakfast or lunch, but dinner was fine too. The meal I had was well done, and included some nice touches with respect to sauces and flavors. I would eat here again.

My wife and I were transiting in LAX. Our daughter happened to be here for work too. So we decided to have dinner together. She said that she knew of the Marmalade Cafe. She ate breakfast in one of them quite long ago. This restaurant is less than 3 miles from our hotel. So it made sense to eat here.... More

Seldom has a place been so "under serviced". The place is very nice, food excellent, priced reasonably (lunch about $25-30 for 2), especially if you spilt the entrees, which we did not, but will next time (they are delicious, but huge ). HOWEVER-MESSAGE TO MANAGEMENT: fix the service. The place suffers from too few wait staff, too many "greeters" talking... More

This is SUCH a great place for brunch! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, DELICIOUS food. I especially love the almond granola pancakes... Soooo tasty! Lots of parking is available and there are lots of stores nearby. Nice place to spend a Sunday morning!

1st visit, food was very good, service too. 2nd time, food was so-so, service a bit slow. Now, this 3rd time, went b/4 the dinner rush (about 4:30pm), seated right away (hardly anybody in the place), waiter was a bit slow in getting to the table, food was a bit slow in getting to us,(it was tasty but a bit... I come here for breakfast a few times a month. Food and service are always excellent! Had my birthday dinner here last month too.
