The menu here is one of the best I have seen in a very long time. Everything sounds scrumptous. The staff was very courteous. The food was delicious. The wine was devine. The only negative was the time it took to receive our food - that is the only reason I gave service a 4 instead of 5. Extremely slow.... more

The food is consistently good, although service can be slow during the week at lunchtime. Wait staff is courteous and helpful. The grilled beef burger with carmelised onions is the best in town and a deal at under $10. I had a very disappointing experience. Went there for lunch and ordered a salad. Half way through my salad I looked down at my salad and saw a green worm inching it’s way across my plate. Second City Bistro is extraordinary when it comes to fabulous wine and scrumptious food. Their motto "American flair with flair" says it all.
