happy hour

Think McCormick & Schmick's is expensive? Well, for dinner it can be, but one of the best hidden secrets to eating here on a budget is happy hour. They have an awesome happy hour menu with awesome food that goes up to only $6. Their spinach dip, buffalo wings, callamari, cheese burger, tacos... read more

We were able to secure a reasonable reservation at 6:45pm. Our server and the hostess staff were very good and accommodating. I liked that they sat the six of us at a round table. The food was good, not great. Sadly, they were already sold out of one of the specials. There are NO options for vegetarians, which is just... More

This is the third time our Ladies Who Lunch South Bay have visited this restaurant, and I only have positive things to say . They validate your parking ticket as you enter, offer crusty french bread while you are waiting, and even gave eleven of us separate checks without us having to ask. I had the lunch special of walnut... More

Food was good but you didn't get a lot for the cost, but this is expected at a McCormick & Schmick's. However, the service was poor. Waiter was very slow, unkempt, and acted like he should be working at an Applebees. There are better McCormick & Schmick's around the country.

In town for a conference we (8) went to check it out. It was a nice place, not noisy, you could speak to one another and be heard. It was very busy and the waiters were moving fast to accommodate everyone. Lighting was low and tranquil. The appetizers were delightful! We ordered the Seafood stuffed mushrooms, Calamari "Fritto Misto", Shrimp... More

You can tell this is going to cost you plenty the minute you roll up. No parking allowed on this quiet side street where the entrance is, but a valet will take your car for $6, no doubt expecting an extra handout, thanks to all the tipaholics out there. Forget it. We crossed Hawthorne and parked at a meter in... More

Dependable, somewhat salty fare. Very good service by young wait staff. Scallop and shrimp dishes (on a bed of spinach with an unusual crab and potato mixture for a bed) were skimpy on the scallops and shrimp. Crab and potato combination may not work for some. Presentation was nice, though, shaped in a cylinder. Pasta dishes were all above par,... More

I was there for Valentine's Day with my husband and a friend. The service was terrible, my dinner was served cold, by the time it returned the other persons had finished theirs, my main dish was warm but the sides were then cold. We were given a table for 2 with a third chair added very cramped. The room had... More

On a layover in LA so came here by myself for an early dinner. Asked the waiter about the fish and was concerned about eating farmed fish. He informed me that most of the fish these days is farmed ??? What?? I'm from Florida, and I know we try to, as does Ca, avoid farmed fish since fresh local fish... More

Very quiet on a Tuesday. Sat in the bar and had excellent service. The lobster bisque was great as was the filet Oscar! Bartender/service was attentive and the food came out quickly. Pricey, but that should be expected here.
