You'll enjoy this authentic home-style BBQ

The ribs and tri-tip have always been terrific. It is a small family run place, a bit back-woodsy and disorganized in the service department. Just remember you are here for the BBQ and the great sauce and you will enjoy it immensely. Recommend sitting on the front sidewalk patio!

Ordered 3 meat combo with 2 sides ($17.95). Ribs; pulled pork; tri-tip. Meat was cooked properly but watery bbq sauce added no flavor. Fair portions of meat (picture attached) and potatoe salad side appeared homemade but nothing special. Most customers order food to go. Lots of parking and located next to starbucks and Carrows.

Great bbq. Highly recommend. Meat is good and tender with its own flavor. BBQ Sauce is perfect, not too thick not too thin and has just the right ammount of flavor to excite your taste buds. Locally owned and operated. Potato salad and mac n cheese are made fresh daily not frozen. Dont drink LAs water, they do not have... More

As I was looking for a place to eat, I saw this one tucked away in a shopping center. The restaurant has only been open for a month in this location (San Pedro, CA). It occupies a corner spot on a building. There are probably a dozen tables inside and about six more outside. The decor is a sort of... More

We were so excited to see a new place opening right by our home..........very disappointed when we ate there.........meat was cold, bbq sauce too thin, place didn't have any personality to it at all...just like the guys serving you. This seems like some college guys who got together and said....."hey why not us open a bbq joint". I don't think... More

This review pertains to their location in San Pedro. Decor: good Cleanliness: good Service: 6 out of 10 we waited too long for everything Food:5 out of 10. Rib tips were very tough and chewy. Tritip tough as well. Portion small for what they charge. Sides were good but again very small. Overall a disappointment. I will not return

Went here on the recommendation of several local co-workers as I was in from out of town. Food was awesome! Loved the smoked fried chicken and ribs. Little hole in the wall, but worth the visit. Cant wait to go back.

I've always wanted to find a great bbq place near where I work and I think this is it! When people visit me at work, I like to take them to places they've never been or don't frequent. So when I suggest this place, their eyes light up! Once you enter hole in the wall in old town El Segundo,... More

Unique menu offerings. Very tasty smoked meats. Just tried the smoked fried chicken. Moist, delicious and I'm ready for more. The chili-mac is great. Good gumbo. The cornbread is excellent and the story behind this establishment is sad, but heartwarming.

I have always thought short ribs were pot roast on a bone, but the way Britt's smokes them and then slices them, so they fall off the bone is incredible! Add to that the tater tots and beignets, it's a meal I look forward too! Edna and the staff make the meal even more enjoyable. Oh yeah, also the seafood... More
