Great place to eat after being in the park all day. We stayed at the hotel there and ate here several times food was very good a little bit expensive.

We tagged along for dinner in the park with friends and this was a jewel We were luck to get in, since it sounded like they require reservations. The food was wonderful - both taste and presentation. Top that with a bottle of wine and good conversation and the meal was perfect. The pictures around the room of Yosemite landmarks... More

Disliked Waiting time to be served on day one. Waiting time to even be seated day two. Liked staff. It was a little like faulty towers though. Soup, some weird broth, salad seemed fresh but basic. It served a need.

omelette was served cool. cheese filling not soft. Great that Peet's coffee is served. pastry not so good: dry and not even ok. The service people were all very friendly and helpful! Only place in town for breakfast.

Our second night we enjoyed a delicious dinner in this Restaurant. The menu offered many delicious choices. We had a well prepared cocktail then dinner. Service was attentive and we ate at our leisure without being rushed.

I only had breakfast. The pancakes weren't buttermilk. The bacon wasn't maplewood. There isn't anything extraordinary about the food. The buffet is the only option and I think it's about $13. The room is dark and the furniture is way old. I think you're better off getting a bite someplace else and bringing it to your balcony where the views... More

Service was good and food was okay. More like a fancy restaurant but not quite there. They need more variety. A little pricey.

The menu was expensive, but the food was delicious. There are kitchenettes in the room, so if you aren't in the mood to spend that much on food at the restaurant, you can cook in instead.

Although we stayed at the Cedar Lodge, we drove the 7 miles distance to eat breakfast here because it is the only restaurant opened near our motel. The breakfast buffet is typical American style with bacon, eggs, oatmeal, sausage, pancakes, french toast, biscuits with white gravy, etc. for $13 and $1 more for beverage like coffee, tea, etc. The only... The ambiance is pleasant enough - sort of a lodge feeling with beautiful Yosemite paintings on the walls; however the service was curt and brisk. There are limited menu choices, as you might expect in a lodge near a National Park, but the food was disappointing. The salad bar looked like tired old Denny's style, though the ingredients were fresh... More
