We'd just finished the long drive from San Fran and were in need of a good drink and plentiful food. Unfortunately, the Cedar Lodge Restaurant was absolutely horrible. The soup was water with some boiled vegetables and everything in the salad bar tasted and looked like it'd come out of a jar or can. We ordered two specials ($22 each)... More

Was not expecting much from this place. We had one average meal and one great meal. The great meal was teriyaki salmon. It was delicious and well cooked. Salad bar is good with a good choice of ingredients. We had chicken noodle soup both nights and it appeared to be home made. Yummy.

On our second night at the Yosemite Cedar Lodge we enjoyed a nice evening at the Cedar House Restaurant at the Cedar Lodge. Our waitress was gracious and kind, when we explained that neither of us we big eaters, she let us know we could share a dinner and pay a small extra fee so both of us could enjoy... More

The menu didn't have a lot of choices, but the fish and chips was very good. Standard beer selection and for a craft beer snob, not much good.

Restaurant was packed on a Saturday night in early Oct. We were seated fairly quickly. Decent menu choices. Food was good, but average. Swordfish was a little dry, but veggies very good. Fried green beans and mushrooms were excellent. Portions were large. Service was good, but servers seemed a little overworked. A little pricey, but what choices does one have... More

Bad service experience, average food. The dinner was not that bad, just a 30 min waiting for the table (announced) and a mistake in the service ( a "Chicken Marsala" instead of a "Center Cut Pork Chop") which simply meant a 30 minute waiting more.... not a big problem, i know we were in a touristic restaurant outside the Yosemite...
