Comfort food and relaxing atmosphere

Good recommendation by Berkeley friends, and now we recommend this restaurant, too. We noticed that men were the only other eaters during this lunchtime. The menu provided a good variety of items for different tastes.

Wagyu beef is flavorful, tender, cooked properly. Aioli house dressing is very good, chips, too. Fish and chips are great, too, if you don't want a really, really good burger. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either, and so far, the best in the Bay.

Called here with a group of friends, about 8 of us. Had to wait a short while to get a table as the place is only small but we managed to get one and had a really pleasant evening. The food was great, definitely not the usual range of pub food. The range of beers was also good with something... More

We found this place while looking for somewhere to watch the Super Bowl while traveling. It appears to be the only decent restaurant for blocks, so we took a chance on it. It is small but comfortable, nothing fancy; clean and eclectic. The menu is very small and quite unusual. The most "normal" thing on it was fish and chips,... More

Good local place to have a house made beer. Also, good food though a tad bit pricey for what you get.

One of the best burgers we have ever had with loads of fries ($14 ). Their own brewed beer was really good. The Caprese salad was first rate. Try their Trumer Pils if you like a milder beer and the Ramble Tamble if you trend towards the hops flavor. A little noisy when the place is full (most of the... More

Elevation looks like a regular brew pub and is fairly easy to drive by as it blends in with surrounding buildings. It was worth the search with a great selection of house made brews in addition to a good list of "guest brews". My salad and sandwich were very good but the beers were the highlight.

Loving this place. Wait and Bar staff are knowledgeable. It shows that they take pride of what they do. I like to go by myself as well as with family and business acquainted.

Our daughter suggested we go here for a late light lunch. What a nice addition to the community of El Cerrito. Great selection of beers, but we really enjoyed a blood orange cider. The food menu offered a nice selection of interesting choices. We were very satisfied. It wasn't as busy as it apparently very often is. It is a... More

We're always on the lookout for good Brit-style ale. We found it at Elevation 66, which brews its own selection and also features beers from other artisan microbrewers. The Two Beagle Brown Ale was incredibly good, the Ramble Tamble Red Ale almost as good. We were there at lunchtime and the place was moderately full. We ordered the beer braised... More
