Family atmosphere, all Mexican food, rustic decor. Staff is friendly and fast in serving. Food was very good. Prices are average! Enjoyed the evening there. Can only recommend. It is right on Route 8 and very close to i 86. Enjoy!!!!

We stayed in Calexico over the weekend. While there's very little do to in Imperial, El Centrol and Calexico, some of the restaurants there are surprisingly good. Guadalajara Restaurant has a nice range of Mexican offerings, particularly seafood dishes. I had shrimp tacos and they were really fresh, there were ample portions, and were delicious. There was live music while... More

We were in town for solar work and drove by and said this is it. Stopped in and the rest is fine history. Good food, nice folks, and a relaxed but special atmoshere.

Of all the Mexican restaurant's in the imperial valley, this one is one of my top 2. Great food all the way around! Nit only mexican food but they also have a couple of American staples like burgers etc on the menu. But where they shine is their mexican food. The seafood is fantastic. Now some people mentioned in their... More

We were driving to San Diego, CA and decided to go and eat Mexican food. We selected this restaurant at random. The food was very good including the chips and salsa. The chips were served with a bean sauce and green and red hot sauce. The service was excellent and reasonably priced.

This place was busy on a Sunday afternoon and service was not great... Food was not very good compared to other places we have eaten in El Centro. Special Quesadilla was ver greasy and heavy.. Food left me feeling yucky .. Will not eat here again ...

Here from Oregon with my sister and 2 brothers. Wanting some authentic Mexican food, we decided to try eating here. We were not disappointed. The adventurous brother tried the seafood soup: squid, octopus, crab and shrimp, among other ingredients. He said it was good, although none of us were brave enough to try it as he is the joker brother.... More

Looked like a nice place so my wife and myself stopped in. Fairly nice decor and nice staff. I was very surprised when I saw the pricing on the menu. Way over priced for quality of food. We had over $60 in lunch, which included a pop, 2 beers, and a nice tip. Good staff though.

Awesome Agua Chilies appetizer, great fish or shrimp tacos - everything we ordered was prepared fresh and with flavor! The table looked like we were at a home with all the condiments and options of toppings for our tacos! The batter on the fried fish or shrimp was light and crispy - just right! Staff were friendly and accomdating. They... More
