Steady Eddie - good food, decent service - always a decent meal

The menu is diverse and portions are generous. Prices are fair considering the quality and quantity served. Service is usually pretty good, but can be slower when there is a crowd. This is a local favorite. You will probably be pleased! Open for breakfast and lunch only.

We went to Perry's El Cajon this morning and had our service dog with us. Our service dog is VERY well trained and follows commands. We were seated by this tall blonde Hostess and I could tell she did not approve of us or our dog. Within two minutes she was at our table outlining rules for us and our... More

Next to Super8, local diner type setting aka greasy spoon. We had a basic breakfast. Right next to interstate. Good parking.

We often go to Perry's for breakfast. The food servings are so big that you may want to take some of it home for lunch! For the most part, the meal is very well prepared. The servers are very attentive, super friendly and helpful.

Had breakfast here one day. Had the frittata. Ingredients where fresh, portions good value for your dollar and the staff were more than friendly.

This place is getting tired and needs an update. The breakfast was average with cold home fried potatoes and bad coffee. I'll skip it next time.

So had not been here in over a year and decided to give them another try, Nothing changed Starts off midweek and the tall lady with glasses at the register is just the rudest cashier ever, do not know why she has lasted all these year. She always has an attitude. My Over easy eggs were undercooked, I like them... More

The prices were okay but I didn't really care for how the eggs were cooked and the tortillas. The waitress was nice.

Perry's is a plainspoken diner; the atmosphere is informal, as are the servers, and the location is in a fairly industrial section of El Cahon. However, magic happens in the kitchen. Their breakfast dishes are outstanding, especially the frittatas -- there is something for every taste and nationality, including Italian, Mexican, Meat-Lovers, Vegetarian and other options. Their frittatas are like... More
