Had breakfast here one day. Had the frittata. Ingredients where fresh, portions good value for your dollar and the staff were more than friendly.

This place is getting tired and needs an update. The breakfast was average with cold home fried potatoes and bad coffee. I'll skip it next time.

So had not been here in over a year and decided to give them another try, Nothing changed Starts off midweek and the tall lady with glasses at the register is just the rudest cashier ever, do not know why she has lasted all these year. She always has an attitude. My Over easy eggs were undercooked, I like them... More

The prices were okay but I didn't really care for how the eggs were cooked and the tortillas. The waitress was nice.

Perry's is a plainspoken diner; the atmosphere is informal, as are the servers, and the location is in a fairly industrial section of El Cahon. However, magic happens in the kitchen. Their breakfast dishes are outstanding, especially the frittatas -- there is something for every taste and nationality, including Italian, Mexican, Meat-Lovers, Vegetarian and other options. Their frittatas are like... More

On Sunday, July 28, 2013 my husband and I wanted to find a new place to eat here in El Cajon. So we looked up different cafe's and Perry's Cafe sounded good and they had rave reviews so we decide to try it and what a disappointed it was. After having lunch we could not understand all the good reviews... More

Food was perfect. Walk out of super 8 right in to cafe for breakfast. Location wise it was on downtown el cajon kind of like not safe side of town.

I popped in here for a lunch with my elderly Father and had a pleasant surprise. First of all, my father was given assistance to a table (he doesn't walk well), the place was clean and smelled clean. The menu is great, old fashioned diner food with a huge range of food. I had a Patty Melt with fries and... More

This restaurant is a busy happening place! Surprisingly, you don't wait long to be seated. And, servers are on it. Great value for the money. Lots to choose on the menu. Be prepared to see lots on your plate! We've been mostly at the their other busy hot spot on PCH & Rosecrans. It gets very loud with all the... More
