Anthonelli's makes the biggest, baddest sandwiches in East County! If you are a sandwich/Deli fan, this is the place to go. The waits are long, so phone ahead if you can. They have a large selection of sandwiches, along with sides and some great desserts too. You can't miss with anything from this place. Lunch times are super busy, though,... More

If you are looking for a great, not just good, freshly made sandwich then this is the place! Be prepared to wait in line during lunch hours as others have figured it out too. I hate places that only put a few slices of meat and then charge you $7. Not here - piled up nice and high the way... More

Recommended to me by some friends and this is probably one of the best sandwich shops in El Cajon. Sandwiches were big, with lots of meat and fixings.

We go here whenever we feel like having a GOOD sandwich. They are very generous with the meat and the breads are fresh and delicious. We have even ordered the large sandwiches for a party - everyone loved them. The only reason I only gave it 4 and not 5 - there are very few tables, very small parking lot... More

I was suggested to try this place by a couple of coworkers and I am sure happy I did! I ordered the 4" No. 1 which is ham, salami, mortadella, and provolone cheese. The subs are topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, salt, pepper, oregano and oil/vinegar. The bread was soft and the veggies were crisp and in good color. I... More

Antonelli's is delicious! Very limited space and seating inside, so I highly recommend calling your order in ahead and taking it home to eat. It is well worth it!

Andy Antonelli runs a good shop. It isn't fancy dining, but they make huge, delicious sandwiches and great soups for down-home prices. The bread is fresh and so are the contents. It is easy to share a sandwich, but you may end up wanting one all to yourself. They cater and deliver, but my favorite is just to eat in... More

Great value. We all ordered the pepper steak breakfast sandwich. The sandwich is better than you'd expect. Large portion & delicious. The venue isn't fancy but the service is good & overall worth a visit.

If you eat sandwiches anywhere else than you're wasting your time. They have the biggest and best sandwiches ever. Pepper stake, wow! Egg salad, glory and a foot long turkey is awesome too! One tip, call it in before you go!
