A money pit that the City of El Cajon helped to finance, and now they're long gone. Good riddance. It wasn't a good restaurant to begin with.

The evening that we went there, it was extremely loud. We couldn't hear ourselves talking. Service was slow too.

My family and I went here a few times and every time the food was just ok and the service was only a little better. It is now closed for good.

I will start by freely admitting that I am a beer snob. So when I heard that a new brewery had opened in el cajon i had to go. My first visit was a disaster! They had been open for several months and you would think they would have the kinks worked out....NO. So I thought well give them some... More

We've been meaning to go to ECBC for months and finally got around to it a couple of weeks ago. We had a couple of beer samples but since we had a long drive decided to forego the beer and drink water. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger (definitely not a low calory selection!) that came with a bit of BBQ... More

ECBC brews many beers, I tried 4 today. My rating system is up to 5 stars for beers. Their off duty IPA go 2 stars, which is actually really good, the Rowdy Redneck Red was 1 star, the Blonde and the Breakout 11 Stout are just average or no stars, but most blondes are tasteless, and most stouts are to... Came with my family for lunch on a Saturday. Not many people inside. Our service was great and the food was good. I had a great cider and the rest had beer. We all had fish tacos and they were wonderful. Coleslaw was icky. If I go again, it will be in the evening to see if the bar is... More

They have their act together! The burger was fresh, excellent and tasted great. I took half of it home, because it comes with a choice of fries, onion rings or slaw, which makes for a pretty hearty meal. Started with a sampler of three of their house beers, 3 ounces of each for $4. What a deal! Went on to... More

Very big place. Well I guess that was made possible because of all the money they were loaned by the city. They have a good beer list, both their beers and many guest beers. The food was just OK, I probably wouldn't eat there again.
