What a pleasant Surprise

We stopped in for a brew and decided to get an appetizer before we ventured to our dinner destination. We never made it to dinner. I had the BEST and biggest clam chowder ever and my husband had the "to die for" wings. The blue cheese dressing is very different and addicting. The beer was the... read more

We had eaten here a few years ago and found the food to be well prepared and more imaginative than most pub grub. The service was very attentive and we loved the fact that there is no loud TV. People appeared to be talking to each other. When the weather is nice the outside area is pleasant.

I am fortunate enough to live in Dunsmuir where this wonderful establishment resides. I try to come here at least once a month. The ales ,stouts and porters are fabulous as well as the food, in fact you could blindfold your self and point to anywhere on the menu and have made an excellent choice. It is often said that... Ate here for the first time last night while the 8th grade class was doing a fundraiser. I had the reuben sandwich and warm german potato salad. I must say the food was AMAZING and so filling. The outside sitting was very comfortable and allowed me to visit with a friend without worrying about bothering other guests. The owner was very... More

I don't think anything on this menu would taste bad. The muscles in the cream pesto, wondfully paired and the French bead is fresh. Highly advise their beer cheese bread as well for a added flare. Can't go wrong with any salad, even the side salad was a delight with various greens; had mine with the blue cheese crumbles. Over... More

The courtyard was a bit warm in early October. Effort has definitely been made to create a welcoming ambience for the inside dining area. The staff enthusiastically followed request for a rare burger. Good beer; good beef; friendly/responsive staff. Best of all: greens and so-forth are grown in the cute little

Stopped in here with my brother-in-law while the wifes strolled through their old home town. Great beers and the cheese sticks were amazing! The owner was behind the bar and was super friendly and spent some time giving us the background on his place. The wife loved her sandwich. Spent 2 hours here enjoying the beer and staff, will definitely... More

So glad our realtor recommended this place when we were looking for vegetarian options. They have a delicious homemade nut burger available to sub on any sandwich! They also offer delicious soups & sides. Everything is freshly made, and although we are not drinkers, we heard everyone around us raving about their home brewed beers. There is also an outdoor... Had their fish tacos--4 puny corn tacos with rancid fish. The chopped fish still had the skin on it. Thankfully, I didn't get sick from the bite I had. My friend had the ribs, which she said were not freshly prepared but warmed up instead. Took forever to get served. Expensive and understaffed. I'm a local, and this was my... More
