Don't be bothered by the funky decor

The beer and the food make up for the very relaxed decor. It's a little place across from the library and we are glad we found it. My husband's favorite beer is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale so since I am not a beer drinker I compare all the tastes to that. Literally every taste at the DBW was good... read more

The courtyard was a bit warm in early October. Effort has definitely been made to create a welcoming ambience for the inside dining area. The staff enthusiastically followed request for a rare burger. Good beer; good beef; friendly/responsive staff. Best of all: greens and so-forth are grown in the cute little

Stopped in here with my brother-in-law while the wifes strolled through their old home town. Great beers and the cheese sticks were amazing! The owner was behind the bar and was super friendly and spent some time giving us the background on his place. The wife loved her sandwich. Spent 2 hours here enjoying the beer and staff, will definitely... More

So glad our realtor recommended this place when we were looking for vegetarian options. They have a delicious homemade nut burger available to sub on any sandwich! They also offer delicious soups & sides. Everything is freshly made, and although we are not drinkers, we heard everyone around us raving about their home brewed beers. There is also an outdoor... Had their fish tacos--4 puny corn tacos with rancid fish. The chopped fish still had the skin on it. Thankfully, I didn't get sick from the bite I had. My friend had the ribs, which she said were not freshly prepared but warmed up instead. Took forever to get served. Expensive and understaffed. I'm a local, and this was my... More

Good beer and good basic pub type food. Great on a nice warm evening, because the outside seating is much nicer than sitting inside.

I had heard about this place through some friends, and it ended up being truly amazing! I ordered the Reuben with German Potatoes and it was so delicious! Our server was extremely nice. He seemed very busy but he was efficient with his work and very diligent. I will be back!!!

We try to get to the Mt Shasta area once a year, and make it a pint (pun intended!) to stop at Dunsmuir Brewery on our way in. We've always found it very relaxed and friendly, and when the weather is good it's great to sit on the big patio. They brew some great beers- last time there I had... More

Good beer. That's what you get here. To be fair, we didn't try the food (which looked like good down home comfort food at great prices) but the beer was good. The wine list left quite a bit to be desired but who goes to a brewery for wine? Great place to grab a pint before dinner.
