This place is a good bike rest in a long and windy road. The best I can say about it is that the beers are cold and the chairs don't rattle. The food? Just like stopping by Costco's deli...

Great service, Bill has been there for 22 years. Small diner feel. The BBQ ribs were amazing. Drinks were cheap. The ride up there is great on a motorcycle.

The food is ok. My hubby really likes the ribs but the place is GROSS. ALWAYS check you glasses and eating utensils BEFORE you use them. EVERY time we have gone (yes, more than once;-P) my glass has had lipstick on it or gunk in it. Yuck! The merchantile is the biggest rip off in history. DO NOT buy anything... More

The Barrett Junction Cafe is basically out in the middle of nowhere, however it is a great place to not only have a good meal, but to also enjoy the scenic ride there and back. It is 19 miles from the 94 intersection at Jamacha Rd (where the Edward's theaters are) and from there takes about 30 minutes to get... More

Barrett Junction is about 25 miles from San Diego and is a beautiful drive out Highway 94 to Dulzura, through golden pastures and rocky hillsides . Everything in the restaurant is like it was 40 years ago--the Alaskan cod is lightly breaded with tartar sauce or vinnegar on the side, the hush puppies are served with honey, and there are... More

A big old howdy in the back country of San Diego. We stoped in for a early buffet breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Coffee , juice, eggs, bacon & much more. Enjoy the ride !

Barrett Junction Cafe is one of those great places out in the middle of nowhere that will have you coming back again and again. We frequently ride our motorcycles out in this beautiful back country. The cafe is on Rt 94 and this road has some incredible scenery. The cafe building is very interesting and is a large building. There... More
