Decent place but nothing to write home about

The service was ok, the place is clean, the food though is just ok and expensive from that perspective. Dim sum is not served for dinner which was disappointing. We felt you can do better.

Koi garden is well known amongst the Cali Chinese for their expensive good Dim Sums and dinners and they including my Bostonian turned sister and brother-in-law swore that it is the best Chinese restaurant in Cali. We,from Toronto and Calgary, Canada, all beg to differ. The dim sums were good but not the best and dinners were average, both are... More

Every time I come home to visit the parents, we come here for some dim sum as this place is the best. The line out the doors on weekends speaks to that as well. You should expect a 45-60 min wait at least unless you are a regular and know one of the managers. The dim sum is some of... More

This is the best dim sum in east bay. You can tell by the line going out the door at all hours regardless of season or meal times. That said, once you get in, the meal is great. Unlike most authentic Asian places, the service here is fairly good. When your tea bottle empties, someone comes within 5 minutes to... More

We went to the Koi Palace in Dublin to celebrate my mom's 90th birthday. Koi Palace Dublin ruined the event by their disorganized service and manger's attitude. I had preordered the food which they rushed to serve without regard to the small table assigned to our party of 10, plus our inability to eat fast. Soup and the main dishes... More

The food is great! dim sum is not cheap but good quality and lots of variety. the xiao-long-bao (shang-hai dumplings) are especially good. regular menu items are good tasting, and you can find some unusual dishes on the menu.

Koi Palace serves Chinese cuisine ranging from dim sum to Cantonese fried rice. The dim sums here are 7/10 but the perking duck here is 9/10. Food quality in overall is good but service is just above average since the waitresses showing no emotion. I prefer to come here during weekdays instead of weekend to avoid the long queue which... Very good for dim sum! Restaurant is clean and uses quality ingredients. Come early on the weekends or expect to wait a long time for a table.
