Comfort Food

Love their special drink prices, very affordable. Tried the pasta dish, and have had their pizza, all were very good. Went with family and there was plenty of food for the kids, easy for them to split something, if only they could agree. Place can get crowded, but the servers really do try and... read more

FJ&L offers a varied menu of pasta, pizza and northern Italian cuisine, all executed well across several visits. Good for a business lunch/dinner, family, or evening out with friends.

We ordered take out of pizza, lasagna, salad, and garlic bread. Six of us ate dinner for $10 each. There was enough food for all of us to eat a second time.

Good food on the menu. We order to go (especially the pizzas, good quality/price compared to "chains"). We were turned off when we saw them stack the chair legs down on top of the tables. Had one really rude waitress so we have given up on in-dining. Small bar.

We often go to FJ&L's when we want to enjoy a pleasant dinner out without spending a fortune. We enjoy lots of menu items including the cannelloni, the Friday night fish special, and many pasta dishes. Last night, our server, Terilyn, was especially nice and efficient, and we usually have good service. Wine prices are reasonable. My husband enjoys having... More

We ordered a Sausage and Mushroom Pizza, and a Vegetarian's Fantasy, both were generally good and decent. Frankie's is a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant with pizza as their specialty, along with typical Italian dinner choices. It was satisfying, no frills.

Service was a little slow but the food is worth the wait! We went twice during our week-long stay in the area. The bread is fresh and hot out of the oven. All the pasta dishes we tried were great. Would like to go one more time to try their pizza. It looked and smelled great too!

The food here is good, decent Italian food and had something for everyone. My reason for choosing this reason being that one person wanted pasta, one wanted pizza and another wanted non pasta or pizza dishes.. Great variety. Great service from the staff here as we celebrated my mother in laws birthday. The staffing was more than adequate and we... More

Thought we would try and early lunch and beat the crowds. Not crowed but you would never have guess because of the poor service. The service was slow and inattentive. Bland food and all the red sauces tasted the same. No matter what you order if the sauce is red it all must come from the same pot. The chicken... More

What can I say? Sausage bread was greasy and bland, ravioli tasted like they came from a dollar store, pizza was unspectacular, spaghetti was undercooked, capellini pomodora was inedible, the wine was drinkable but 40$ for a 20$ chianti? Do not go there!
