Anytime I'm in town this is my all time favorite place to stop at. It's a family owned restaurant; they are amazing & very friendly, always smiling & happy. I want to be part of their family ;). Oh yeah & the food is aaaammmazing, everything Ive tried here is so flavorful & fresh. Sometimes when it's really crazy busy,... More

We have been going to Pamir Restaurant for lunch and dinner for the last year at least once a week and we have received only good food and great service. The food is consistently tasty and cooked to perfection and the portion size is adequate. I love the chicken kebabs but I have had the chicken korma which was great,... More

This family restaurant drew me in with the aroma of spices. Then the daughter explained that their style was not the most common Afghan food. Once I tasted the food I was hooked. Their hummus with their Afghan bread is the best. Now they offer a chicken hummus too. Their specialty lamb shank isn't even on the menu It really... More

From title its evident that my husband and I love this place and come back with friends and family to dine often. Afghan cuisine has been our favorite since New Jersey days, which would be 7 years for us. The food at pamir is very good, the chicken dish with gravy so far my favorite... Best I have ever had.... Stop by here for dinner on a Sunday. Place is clean and good service. Good was okay except for my fish. It was underdone. I had a stomach ache late night and next morning. Not going to order fish anymore. My kids food was good.

With all the choices in the area - Pamir is still my all time favorite restaurant in the Bay Area. The food is amazing and I have tried almost everything on the menu. Everything is cooked from scratch and is fresh. What I love most about this place is the owners! I walked in for lunch one day and ever... More

I've eaten here many times with my family, and enjoyed introducing our friends to this restaurant. Most of the people working here are part of the same family, and their friendliness, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food are a credit to them. The combination eggplant and hummus appetizer is always a favorite, as are the chicken, tikka, and lamb kabobs. I... More

No beer or wine. No ambiance - too bright, not cozy, no music. Cold and drafty on a cool evening. Service is slow. Plaza is new, but restaurant is showing wear and tear. Food is just ok. Bread seemed too dry and stale. We went out for our anniversary, and it was very disappointing.

I love Afghani food. I stopped in at Pamir for the vegetarian combo which is pretty standard in most Afghan restaurants. You usually get an eggplant stew, salad, cooked spinach and bread. At Pamir the eggplant stew was sitting in a pool of grease. There was no dressing on the salad and no flat bread. There are much better Afghani... More
