Delicious food but takes time

Family owned Afghani food. The food is really good but service can be improved. All the servers are extremely friendly (children of owners), and ensure you have a good time. Highly recommended!

Stop by here for dinner on a Sunday. Place is clean and good service. Good was okay except for my fish. It was underdone. I had a stomach ache late night and next morning. Not going to order fish anymore. My kids food was good.

With all the choices in the area - Pamir is still my all time favorite restaurant in the Bay Area. The food is amazing and I have tried almost everything on the menu. Everything is cooked from scratch and is fresh. What I love most about this place is the owners! I walked in for lunch one day and ever... More

I've eaten here many times with my family, and enjoyed introducing our friends to this restaurant. Most of the people working here are part of the same family, and their friendliness, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food are a credit to them. The combination eggplant and hummus appetizer is always a favorite, as are the chicken, tikka, and lamb kabobs. I... More

No beer or wine. No ambiance - too bright, not cozy, no music. Cold and drafty on a cool evening. Service is slow. Plaza is new, but restaurant is showing wear and tear. Food is just ok. Bread seemed too dry and stale. We went out for our anniversary, and it was very disappointing.

I love Afghani food. I stopped in at Pamir for the vegetarian combo which is pretty standard in most Afghan restaurants. You usually get an eggplant stew, salad, cooked spinach and bread. At Pamir the eggplant stew was sitting in a pool of grease. There was no dressing on the salad and no flat bread. There are much better Afghani... More

This is a very good restaurant in a strip food mall. It doesn't stand out from the others from the outside but it is a real treat. The food is very good with a large menu selection. We went there for lunch and there are daily lunch specials but we were told they are really available every day. I had... More

I have been in the East Bay area for a project and stumbled into this place which was surrounded by bunch of Chinese, Thai, Korean etc. places. I like their Chapli kebab's so much that I came back to try different dishes and they were always good such as their kabob platters. My other project mates tried this place and... More

This is a terrific little restaurant. We are from out of town and stumbled into it almost by accident and couldn’t have been more pleased. Our hosts (owners I think) went overboard to make us feel welcome and help make menu selections that would suit us including items that could be served quickly. Part our group was flying out of...
