If you are cuban and are missing a good pastel de guallaba, this is the place to go. The food is also quite authentic. Just make sure tou allow yourself plenty of time because the lines are out the door. Well worth the wait!!!

I have been coming here for 4 years now, almost every time we visit SoCal from NoCal. The pastries, both the savory and the sweet, are amazing. Guava strudel and cheese strudel are flaky and not over the top sweet. Potato balls are delicious. Their cakes are beautifully and over the top decorated. The service is what is the most... More

I stopped to pick up some sandwiches and pastries, waiting on line kills the tasty food. They should have more cashiers and to enable you can order food & pastries on the same time. If you are planning to order pastries & food you will need around 45 - 60 minutes before you get your order to go.

Delicious white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake, and potato rolls. Could eat the entire cheesecake in one setting but must ration it over the next several meals. Don't miss the many wonderful items.

I love their potato balls and guava and cheese strudels. They are always a hit at parties. My first experience at Portos was on Thanksgiving day 2014. Holy moly, the line was crazy!!!! The gentleman who worked there told me the line was wrapped around the building at 4 AM and they didn't open til 5 AM. They were very... More

I had some of their empanada pastries while traveling on business and was soooo happy I found this place. I love desserts/pastries and this place didn't disappoint. There is a good reason they have a long line to place orders, the locals know it's good.

This Porto's right off Firestone STAYS BUSY.......but I must give them credit...do no let the long lines frustrate you. They move very quickly and their items are so unique once you nibble on the first bite you will forget how long the line was. The potato balls are a must have, as well as the Cubano. What can be said... More

Searching for excellent bread, pastries, or cakes then you must give Porto's a try. Beautiful pastries fill the counter along with various types of fresh breads and cakes. A long wait is typical but worth it.

Normally a small restaurant with a long line would be an automatic turnoff, but not for Porto's. The wait is worth it for the scrumptious pastries, cakes and other delights. Line moves pretty fast so it's not terrible. Great tastes! You'll enjoy. ...
