For starters, they do not go overboard on salt....so many Chinese places pour on salt as a substitute for cooking skill but this food is not overly salty. Good size portions....,comfy booths....reasonably priced and very casual style

We enjoy the food here quite often. Prices are reasonable & portions are generous. Mongolian Beef can either be hot or mild according up your preference. Our children love the lo-mein. Service is always quick whether you dine in or take to go.

Heading home from AZ, we passed through Indio-Palm Springs without stopping. Had to leave the highway for food. Our luck. About 5 miles off I-10 we found Kam LUN. We've eaten a lot of Chinese, and this was GOOD. All portions were big, and each dish we picked was liked by the whole group. We'll be back

my husband and I went here because we read reviews on tripadvisor. we were not quite sure how the special worked it seemed to good to be true, $5 for tea, soup, egg roll, fried or steamed rice and one choice of many different items. we ended up ordering 3 meals, one with broccoli and beef, one with sweet and... Up to now, we were traveling to Palm Springs for Chinese food, when all the time the BEST was here in DHS. The food had fresh flavors ang the portions were large. Prices were inexpensive; 3 of us for under $50 with drinks! The staff was personable; smile and it gets even better. I would definitely recommend Kam Lun in... More

Off the main beat, but well worth the drive. Their menu is varied, their portions large and their quality is surprisingly good.

The place definitely will not appear on the cover of Interior Design, but their food deserves a Michelin star. This place was the highlight of out not so nice stay in Desert Hot Springs!

Try smiling and say hello to the servers it's amazing how much better service you get. The appetizers that traditionally you get with Chinese food is a little different . the shrimp is the norm and actually very good . the egg rolls were a disappointment. The empanadas.? Hmm Chinese. These were a little weird and un conventional. Also a... More

This modest Chinese restaurant in a somewhat hidden location is a real find. One might say it is a culinary oasis in the desert. The menu is typical, but the food is a cut above what one would expect in a small town setting like this. I've eaten here a few times with friends and have always enjoyed well-prepared dishes...
