Vegetarian Mexican American Food...Absolutely!

Tucked away on Pierson Boulevard west of the main town center is a classic Mexican-American restaurant. Aside from the typical dishes, their kitchen has created some of the best vegetarian fajitas I have tasted in Southern California. The fajitas include a variety of vegetables steamed and then... read more

My mom was going to have her 85th birthday here. Went in ahead of time and arranged with the manager to have a 3-piece band featuring a guitarist she really enjoyed. Came in a little bit early on the big day and was told they sent the band members home, this after we had already put a deposit down. We... More

Three of us had the Casa Blanca margarita. It was great as previous reviewers stated. However, one was blended which seemed to overflow continually (?). On the rocks kept within its borders. Two ordered the fajitas..one chicken and the other pork. Both raved about how good it was. I had the macho burrito carne asada which was full of steak... More

While staying in Desert Hot Springs, this is one of the best options for dinner. I've dined here a number of times & I can say that it's consistent. For dinner hours on a weekend~ come early or make a reservation, as it can get pretty busy!

We are from out of town and visited because it was so highly ranked on numerous review websites. We were not disappointed! The happy hour drinks were cheap and strong. I recommend the 'matador' and the blue margaritas. We each got grilled chicken tostadas and the meat was absolutely delicious. An excellent meal and again really inexpensive. We finished off... Authentic Mexican food. Nice $8 lunch special. Servers were very busy, but friendly. Good food, not the best--but good.

Grilled seafood and wide selection of the usuals, decent food good service. The Casa Blanca (not the 'house' ) margarita is excellent.

Quite colorful, the aroma of good food cooking wafted through the air. Salsa served with chips not my favorite, although cannot pinpoint why. Just seemed a little flat on flavor. Good margaritas.

When we arrived we didn't think we would get a seat the place was so crowded so we figured it must be good. The food was very good although our service was pretty slow. It seems it was just our waitress as other waitresses were moving much faster. Would return again though.

This restaurant is very colorful, clean and reasonable. The waitresses and staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a good selection of appetizers and meals on the menu, and they do serve fish. They have a full bar, which meant I just had to try their Cadillac margarita,,it didn't disappoint me and they don't hold back on the alcohol! Chips... More
