Spinach and feta omelet was delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. When we drove past Sidewinder as we rolled into town, I thought this was a bar, but it was a nice little cafe when we went there for breakfast in the morning.

Upon recommendation by several others, we went for a Saturday night dinner at the Sidewinder. It was not very busy in the restaurant side of the establishment. The bar/drinking area was right next door and you could hear all the noise from that side in the restaurant side.
We were seated promptly and the waitress took our order quickly. The...

This restaurant gets great reviews on Yelp, but I couldn't see why. The ladies serving us were very friendly, but my waffle was dry, the French toast was odd tasting, and the home fries looked gray and were unappetizing. Palm Springs is not too far away, so better look there for breakfast options!
We were staying locally and decided to eat at this restaurant based on the TA reviews. Unfortunately it was a big mistake. We went on a Saturday night, the special menu for the evening was a BBQ, so we all (4) decided to try it. I can only say the food was dreadful and we left most of it. The...

The food ranges from good to very good, with breakfast taking up most of the very good. The prices are ridiculously low, there should be more stars available for "value". Especially for kids, breakfast prices cheaper than fast food. Friendly, family atmosphere.
Continental Cuisine so no matter what your palate craves, there's Something for everyone here. With the quality fresh food & unbelievable prices, I would recommend this establishment to everyone, who visits this area!! I give them 5out of 5 *****, A+ product, service, value.
This is not a fancy restaurant, but it has family type atmosphere. The service is good and the staff very friendly and acommodating to those with special diet needs. The feta cheese and spinach omelet is excellant. I had sliced tomatoes (a touch of Italian dressing) instead of potatoes with Sourdough toast, all was very good. Definately a good find.
We loved the menu choices and look forward to a good home cooked meal every time we visit.
A trip back to the past with a modern menu that is reasonably priced. Good steaks, chicken dishes, ceasar salads and other solid culinary fare for a reasonable price.
My husband treats me to breakfast out every Sunday and we decided to try someplace north of I-10 this week. The Sidewinder Grill is on the northern end of Desert Hot Springs a few blocks off the main drag. There is outdoor seating for warm days but you're looking out over the parking lot.
Breakfast for my husband was his...
