Roadhouse; Fine for Families

Good basic menu: excellent breakfast options at bargain basement prices; soup, burgers and sandwiches for lunch. Haven't been there for dinner. Service is friendly and attentive. Not fancy but comfortable.

We ate here three separate times while visiting Joshua Tree. A very old school diner with food that always stopped our expectations anda very nice wait staff. We will return!

Good service, good food....simple dishes. We liked it and would go again the next time we are there. The biscuits were homemade and one day we had it alone and the other two days we had it with gravy. Yum!

Just what you'd expect from a small-town diner. Decent food at a decent price with generally friendly and fun staff.

My husband and I ate breakfast here at the recommendation of the Sagewater Spa owners. The food was delicious and inexpensive (we ate a lot, too), and the atmosphere is very charming. We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I caught Lunch and Breakfast there in October. Both meals were excellent! Down home cooking and service. Delicious hot food. The menu is huge! The prices were very reasonable. I've visited the desert 3 times a month for the past 29 years and the atmosphere of the Sidewinder Bar and grill reminds me of that nostalgic era... More

Extensive breakfast, lunch, dinner menu. Service staff who know and care about locals. Bar area as well as outdoor dining area. Very casual, old fashioned, comfy place. Good garden salad with or without beets and garbanzo beans, Lots of options.

We went there for breakfast and the food quality is very good. It is not a fancy restaurant - old fashioned but great price value for breakfast. The servers were friendly and portions just the right size.
