We usually eat here once or twice a month during the winter. Generally pretty good food, I think (& wife agrees) the food is not quite as good as a couple of years ago but still better than OK. The quantities are (you wont leave hungry). The staff is very friendly & efficient.

Plates, John Wayne, Elvis Presley adorn the walls in this quaint family run cafe. Locals were everywhere. The outside does not look like much but it is definitely worth eating there. Homemade biscuits and gravy and a pancake...delicious. Wife likes Huevos Rancheros and uses it as a benchmark to rate food. This was the best ranchero sauce she has ever... More

Had breakfast here. A lot of food, great omlettes and the service was also really good. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend trying this place.

We stayed close by and did not have good meals our first 2 days of vacation. We found this place and it was fantastic! We are a family of 5 and everyone loved their food. Great service and reasonable prices.

Go for breakfast for sure. We have been several times while in the Palm Springs area. This place is a little out of the way as it is in Desert Hot Springs but very good. Lots of locals, for sure not on the upscale level. I guess thats why we go, No Ritz Carlton here. Nice people, good food, good... More

We have been eating here from time to time over 20 years, and for much of that time it has been a warm, friendly place with really good food and attention to customer needs. But our recent trip was not good. Sadly, requests for things like "no mayonnaise" or "extra well done" were ignored. We sent a dish back once... More

Coffee was terrible, tasteless. But the breakfasts are good and there are various lunch options including soup and half a sandwich. Very inexpensive. Breakfast and lunch only.

The classic Americana breakfast establishment. Eggs, bacon, sausage biscuits& gravy. If this is what you want, it's good. If you want scones, croissants etc- fuhgettabouitit. A throwback to the old era...wait till you see the inside. Service was great too! Couldn't eat like this all the time, but a good fuel stop for a long day's hiking in Joshua.

They serve the BEST Denver omelet in the whole of the Palm Springs area. I have yet to find one better. The biscuits are also very fresh and tasty. Check it out, it's sure to please...
