Excellent tasting food and a large menu, but very expensive. Good spot if you want to impress someone. You can get lower priced Persian food elsewhere, but I guess you are also paying for the very nice atmosphere.

Ate lunch there on a Saturday afternoon in Dec with family. All the waitstaff and cooks were Spanish, which should have been an alarm right there. The lentil soup was good and the salad was fresh. The main dishes were just OK, nothing to write home about. I have had much better Persian food at a lot lower prices. The... More

We all went there for dinner. Food was alright but service wasn't that great. Restaurant was clean & ambiance was nice. Overall it was okay but they need to improve service with a more friendly attitude.

It was the first time I ate Spanikopita that I didn't like. There was a spice in there that I didn't care for, but my husband was fine with it, and he ate my lunch. The vegetarian soup was delicious, and the service was good.

I've been here many times when I was a younger. Really looking forward to come back but the experience was horrible. I don't know if they changed people who were working from them.. But the waitresses were rude and not acceptable. I asked for bread because it was hard as rock.. My soup didn't even come before my entree.. I... More

This used to be a place I would go once or twice a month. They had great food. My recent visit was perhaps the last one. Food was terrible. Place was HOT. Entertainment was ok.

For the quality of food and service that this restaurant provides, its prices are too high. The food is average and the service is okay. As a vegetarian, I did not have many options. I generally like the atmosphere, but if you want better Persian food, I think there are better places in San Diego to look for better quality... More

Alborz is in small mall just west of the I-5 so no "Del Mar View" - but the food is dependably good and service attentive. It's large but quiet enough for a business lunch - and can accomodate larger groups. Lunch plates are very large - so if you or a friend enjoys chicken, gyros or other meats, it's great... More

Our family visited this restaurant/nightclub on a Saturday night for a birthday. The atmosphere, decor and feel of the place is great. The entertainment was awesome. The guitarist as well as the belly dancers were professional, curteous, friendly and entertaining. However, the food was not up to par. The persian food didn't look or taste like persian food. We were... More
