Looking for place after the races to get a burger and a beer. Found Zels on Trip Adviser and so glad we did. Their happy hour special can't be beat a delicious burger, fries and and a beer for $10.00. Our waitress Melissa was always on the ball without being pushy in other words perfect. At the end of the... More

This great little gem reminds me to eat outdoors whenever possible! Super good flatbread pizzas accompanied our different wine by the glass choices while live music streamed past our ears. Cozy, casual and just a little hip - a great evening spot when on the coast.

Knowing it was a Friday night, and having experienced the crazy lack of parking & restaurant waits in San Clemente the night before, we phoned ahead and made reservations for 6.30. The parking gods were with us as we pulled into a space right next door. The café is a bustling place, but we were quickly seated. Staff were very... More

Greg and his lovely wife have created a gem here. Great food with great ambiance combined with an outstanding bar balanced with live music. All you could need or want is here with En Fuego and Bullys right across the street. How good can it get. Visit and enjoy.

I tried their Mediterranean Mussels, and the portion was so generous, this could have been an entire meal if I would have had some rice on the side. The coconut milk sauce was delicious and a bit spicy. Then, I had the Venison meatloaf and the mushroom demi-glace was out of this world. First, I was a little concerned the... More

You can't beat the location. Wonderful, casual cafe with terrific food. The mussels in a rich sauce was great. The burgers were 1st rate and the service top notch. All while not being over priced. Live music and an endless happy hour on Sunday.

We dined here last week based on the trip advisor reviews from others who had recommended it. Their happy hour is a good value; the hamburger is really good but IF you want the happy hour price for the hamburger then you MUST order the beer with it for $10. If you happen to prefer wine then you will pay... More

Had a great quinoa burger myself. Others had classic burgers and tuna salad. The food was all quite good including the quinoa! Server was quite attentive and very friendly. Good value.

Went here for the first time with a small group of colleagues. I had the bison burger, which was perfectly cooked, med-rare as I asked, sweet and juicy. It was served on an excellent soft bun that had a nice flavor and didn't fall apart or mush up. There was a hint of aioli and some great freshly made french... More
