Greg and his lovely wife have created a gem here. Great food with great ambiance combined with an outstanding bar balanced with live music. All you could need or want is here with En Fuego and Bullys right across the street. How good can it get. Visit and enjoy.

I tried their Mediterranean Mussels, and the portion was so generous, this could have been an entire meal if I would have had some rice on the side. The coconut milk sauce was delicious and a bit spicy. Then, I had the Venison meatloaf and the mushroom demi-glace was out of this world. First, I was a little concerned the... More

You can't beat the location. Wonderful, casual cafe with terrific food. The mussels in a rich sauce was great. The burgers were 1st rate and the service top notch. All while not being over priced. Live music and an endless happy hour on Sunday.

We dined here last week based on the trip advisor reviews from others who had recommended it. Their happy hour is a good value; the hamburger is really good but IF you want the happy hour price for the hamburger then you MUST order the beer with it for $10. If you happen to prefer wine then you will pay... More

Had a great quinoa burger myself. Others had classic burgers and tuna salad. The food was all quite good including the quinoa! Server was quite attentive and very friendly. Good value.

We stopped here while walking Del Mar looking for a place to have dinner (we were on vacation) and we had a great experience. The food was very good and the service was fantastic.

Went here for the first time with a small group of colleagues. I had the bison burger, which was perfectly cooked, med-rare as I asked, sweet and juicy. It was served on an excellent soft bun that had a nice flavor and didn't fall apart or mush up. There was a hint of aioli and some great freshly made french... More

Stopped in on a busy Friday night. Both service and food was very good. Prices were reasonable for the area. Will definitely go back. The veggie burger is very good as is their new Charcuterie and Cheese plate.

We had dinner at Zel's while we were staying in Del Mar for a couple of days. The restaurant has a very nice outdoor dining area with a central gas fire. We each had one of the flatbread pizzas and both were very good. The service was very good and the cost of the meal was reasonable. All-in-all a very... More

We opened with bruschetta caprese - the fresh mozzarella was divine and made this the best bruschetta my friend has ever had. And he is well-traveled & has an experienced palate. We also has the charming chickpeas for snacking, and I had the wonderful beet and arugula salad. We both had the Wild Salmon with grilled chard and celery root... More
