Nice menu selection. Attentive waitstaff.

Lots of seafood dishes. I had a mix of fried fish, clams, scallops and shrimp and it was just the right size for lunch. My husband had the crab cake sandwich and it was really tasty too. Everything was fresh and well prepared. Plan on valet parking for $4 because there isn't much parking... read more

Was here for NCAA Bball tournement. Great place, great crowd, great food, great staff. Awesome views. Great happy hour specials on appetizers. We tried several and everything was excellent! Will definitely be back.

We had dinner , I had the sole with mash potatoes and it was very good. We had a table at the window and we had a nice view over the Del Mar race track.

Had some wonderful meals on our last trip to Rancho Valencia with 2 other couples including at Dolce Pane e Vino and Pacifica in La Jolla but my personal favourite was Brigantines.... casual, friendly, old California, comfortable. We had a great lunch including spicy fish tacos and beers and I would have returned for dinner but the ladies wanted to... More

We ate here last Saturday night, got there at 6:00 ~ missed their $2.00 tacos at Happy Hour but decided to stay for drinks and dinner. VERY popular place, as it was packed! We did get a table right away and got drinks & food quickly. The Napa Nachos are DELISH! I also had a 'Sparkling Pear' cocktail that was... More

I've eaten hundreds of fish tacos and the Brig still has the best one I've ever had. Weather you get the baja style, the shrimp, or the swordfish, they are all amaze-balls. Brig margarita shaker is great, beer selection good, atmosphere amazing. I've never actually eaten in the main restaurant, never will. They don't serve the bar menu there and... More

It was our first time to the Brigantine and we enjoyed the visit. We were seated quickly and the service was excellent. I started with the Clam Chowder but wasn't really impressed. It seemed more like it came out of a can. For my entree, I had the Crab Stuffed Jumbo Prawns and the meal was delicious and at the... More

I have been to the Brig several times. My favorite time is happy hour for the fish tacos. Fresh, hot, and 2 are more than enough to make a complete dinner. Nice selection of beers to wash them down. The seats along the railing have a fun view of the track (yes, you can actually see the horses run) and... More

I can't wait to go back and get the Wok Charred Ahi tuna! One of my most favorite meals! From the way the tuna was prepared and cooked (seared and vey rare) to the accompaniment of the stir-fried veggies and rice… such perfect tastes put together! I ate the entire dish, and it was quite a lot of food. My... More
