Great location and atmosphere right on the beach. Next door is a park and we watched a wedding ceremony on the beach. Our server was attentive and personable. Local here. I like to eat good food and Jake's has it. The atmosphere is nice. Lots of nautical hardwood with high gloss lacquer. Even with the nice decor it can be both casual or a formal place- It's California casual.
