Stopped by MIlton's on our way from San Diego to Anaheim by chance. Looked like a nice place. The food was good. We took advantage of the "Taco Tuesday" special and got a couple of the taco plates which were quite good. I had a knockwurst which was pretty tasty. There were a lot of nice choices on the menu.... No, it's not East-coast quality, but it's very close. Milton's has a big menu and they do most of the great deli breakfast and lunch items well. The corned beef sandwich is quite good, as is the matzo ball soup.

Stumbled across this Jewish style deli purely by accident. Quite enjoyed our breakfasts there (especially the cheese blintzes), but were less than awed when we returned for dinner (the Reuben and matzoh ball soup were just meh, and I'm still waiting for my potato knish. Very confusing menu that could stand to be culled by about 3/4s. Are you a... More

Breakfast, lunch and dinner, I ca go everyday. My nay problem is that my wife doesn't like it as much as I do. Best Deli in town....great service, a bit pricy, but it is worth it! If you have the chance you do not want to miss it. I have been going there over15 years. enjoy!

I really think this deli is simply "average." It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I don't live in the area, but if I did, I might go here on rare occasions. I had a side of corned beef hash and an english muffin. The corned beef was good, but the peppers and onions that were in it were... More

Milton's has been in Del Mar/Solana Beach for years and never fails to live up to it's expectations. Excellent Food, good atmosphere and be prepared to wait on weekends.

If you are in the San Diego region and looking for a non-taco, check out Milton's Deli. It's roomier and better lit than a New York Deli, its corn beef isn't as hardcore as you get in Manhattan, and the servers speak better Spanish than Yiddish, but it definitely fits the bill - a home away from home for the over-stuffed... The food was good and there is an unbelievable variety. I had the Turkey sandwich but my sons burger and onion rings were way better. Good place to eat but prices are high ($15) for turkey sandwich.
