Beautiful view and nice service. Good location to bring out-of-towners. I was disappointed however in their "signature" mac and 3x cheese. It was so bland I had to add salt several times and I never use salt. I would try again someday. more

I have dined at Sbicca three times. It seems that the experience is different each time. Not bad but certainly not improving. The same host has been there each visit and I have found him to be warm and welcoming or completely aloof (at best). A new hostess on our last visit really didn't have a clue. For the very simple and limited menu, and so so plate presentation & quality of food, i though the place was overrated and overpriced. more

Half price wine nights, what's not to love more

This little tucked away restaurant is one of my favorite spots in Del Mar. Have eaten there numerous times, and the food is always excellent, as is the wine and the service. Bathrooms could be better, but that would be my only negative. more

waiter was a snob, and didn't know much about wines, steak I could have grille better at home, but the appetizers were great, definitely not worth the buzz more

Lunch last week was very nice, and fairly priced. Excellent central location 1 block off the main drag. Very friendly and efficient service. The menu descriptions are better/more exciting than the execution of the cooking, but overall good. Pretty good lobster bisque.
