We ate here when meeting up with family while visiting California. Great location in Del Mar and easy to get a table during the weeknight when we visited. The waitresses were very helpful but service wasn't outstanding after we ordered. The atmosphere is excellent and they have a great selection to choose from on their menu. My husband and I... More

Couldnt get waited on for an order to go! Maybe they like the horse jokeys from the nearby racetrack instead of return customers. NEVER AGAIN!! Go to Miltons (better food and cheaper too!)

The Prime Rib for two is the bar for Prime Rib! Nowhere on earth compares! Be certain to enjoy their onion soup and their burgers for lunch are equally spectacular! Want to meet people at the bar? Sit in the penalty box up front! You will meet half of Del Mar on a Weekend! For get dressing up! Bully's is... More

Bully's has been in Del Mar for decades and has some of the best prime rib and steaks in town. The Bar is always full of locals especially during racing season. One of the best meal bargains in Del Mar.

This is where it is at, and where the locals go. The steaks here are very good, and some cuts are thick. The bar is a fun place for a conversation. There are some very smart people that are regulars here, and it's a place for old money people. I highly suggest dressing high end in an understated way. This... More

This could be a cool dive bar restaurant…….but it’s not. Ok got the prime rib medium was almost well just a hint of pink I mean could go on and on but salad, soups sides’ etc. just poor quality. Bottle of red wine served warm service lack luster wanted to like this place but just can’t. To top it all... More

Prime Rib is always excellent. It comes precisely how you ordered it without exception. This visit was to the Del Mar Bully's, and we also eat at the San Diego Bully's in Mission Valley. Never had Prime Rib in the last 35 years and either will you. The ambiance is a long bar on one side with tables, Dining room... More

While staying with friends in Carlsbad came down to Del Mar to revisit this local pub. It has not lost its charm, friendliness, and tasty food.

Love Bully's! My family has been eating there for many, many years and enjoy celebrating birthdays and other events there. My favorites are the enchilada and marinated skirt steak with the salad and homemade blue cheese dressing AND the prime rib bones/ends - so much food but excellent! They have the best horseradish sauce and au jus around - oh!... More

Birthday number 69 - dinner at Bully's. What else - Prime Rib (for two). Very good; service even better; ambiance - 50's - wonderful! We truly enjoyed our dinner at Bully's and recommend it without conditions. Only reason for 4 circles instead of 5 is - as most beef houses have gone - prime rib is pre-packaged off site (and...
