If you like Hagen Daz ice cream then you will love the shakes at Smash Burger. Great tasting burgers with yummy sweet potato fries.

Smash burger was a great stop. The quality of the burger and toppings was excellent. We also had the sweet potato fries. A soft drink a beer, two burgers and fries were $35 which was a little high but the quality of the food was great. Nice service too.

Quick, easy, flavorful fast food. The rosemary fries and sweet potato fries were very tasty. The hamburgers/chicken burgers are also tasty and made to order. Not gourmet, but dependable and reasonably priced, especially for families.

I have eaten at many burger places across the country and, although nowhere near the best that I have had, this place beats most other similar burger restaurants such as five guys. The burger was tastier and the fries were better. They have a better menu than five guys as well.

Even though this is a chain restaurant you wouldn't know it - it feels like a comfortable burger joint with amazing burgers, fries and salads. I always get the San Diego burger - best burger in San Diego (not just Del Mar) and the Smash fries that have a little truffle oil on them. The salads are big and really... More

First time at this restaurant and they got my order wrong. Strike 1! They "butter" the bun! Really? Do we need more grease? Strike 2! Their "house" dressing/sauce (that they put on their burgers, whether you want it or not...) is intolerably Peppery! Strike 3! They're OUT!

Our family was on our way to the beach in Del Mar so we saw this Smash Burger and stopped for a quick bite. The burgers were good as well as the chicken sandwich. We really loved the smash burger fries! We were actually able to walk down the street to the beach after lunch. Would eat here again.

Had our first Smash Burger experience for dinner recently in Del Mar. Burgers - avacado club and San Diego - were good to very good. Counterperson said one order of fries was enough for two - the fries were good and individual orders would have been a better choice. Price-value of food is fine. Wine is seriously overpriced -- $10... More

We split the avocado/bacon burger. Nicely spiced, included lettuce, tomato, sauce and there is a large assortment of condiments that you can add (many of them at no charge). Also had the rosemary/garlic fries...ate them all. Crispy, hot and the spices were just right, I usually use catsup on my fries, didn't need it.
