Convenient location and great burgers

Large burgers and good fries, a casual, crowded place if you want a lot to eat after a day at the beach.

Friends of ours swore that this was the best burger in Califorina and from what I have tasted so far, I agree with them. It is fresh and the bun is also good and fresh.

On my last visit back home, I was surprised to see how many Smashburgers had closed in the San Diego area. I was thrilled to see that this one was still around, and I still believe that their burgers are worth the detour. My old favorite, the "San Diego," was happily, still on the menu!

Unlike many burger places, they have a good selection of chicken sandwiches too. Basically, they have the same toppings for chicken sandwiches as they do for burgers. They also have a selection of sides, besides plain fries, including fried vegetables.

The burgers tasted great and seemed very clean. The place is located in a very nice area with lots of great looking people walking around. The service was decent and everything seemed clean. There is free parking in the rear.

We have been eating at Smash Burger every 4 months or so since it opened a couple of years ago. While it is greasy fast food, every once in a while it was OK and my grandchildren like it. However, it has gradually been going down hill to the point where we have crossed it off our list. A few... More

You can never go wrong with a Smashburger. Truffle mushroom Swiss is my fav. Smash Fries are greasy but yummy! Nice spot to stop mid-shopping day.
