Great location, nice food selection, but servers need a wake up call

This place is in the historic old city hall, a charming building with an expansive patio. They offer a wide range of plates and price points. Love the hot crab and artichoke dip (ask for extra toast), the shishito peppers (discontinued on this visit, but hopefully coming back) and most of the... read more

First time visit. Bistro 33 is a lovely walk from several downtown hotels, including the EconoLodge on D Street. Lots of outdoor seating/conversation areas with fire pits and other heaters. Inside is spacious and rustic. Absolutely fantastic service. Johnny is apparently a super star bartender...he made us delicious martinis - his own invention!! Favorite foods: the spinach and cheese fried... More

When the weather is good, this is the place to eat outside. Even if it is chilly, they have heaters and a fire pit to keep you comfortable. Inside is also cozy - the best decorated former Police Station around! They have a menu with good variety both in terms of items and prices. My favorite is the Puget Sound... More

Went here with friends and difficult to find as they don't even have a sign with their name on F st - Just the building number and it's poorly lit. We had to go through the bar and lounge to get to the restaurant. It was so dark I had to use my phone light to read the menu and... More

I have commented before on the rotten service at Bistro 33, but I was essentially forced to go there for a meeting. One of the party ordfer some goat cheese, which was OK, but when it was delivered another person in our group ordered some French fries. Twenty minutes he went to find out what happened to the order. They... More

I've been "amazed" with this place on three different occasions. From the first time I couldn't believe how bad my experience was considering the location and the way this restaurant looks from the curb. First time I thought we simply weren't lucky. Second time (about two months later) - same result. Third time we were invited by our friends and...... More

Great bar set up, fantastic in house recipes for drinks, great ideas on food, quick service! Wonderful indoor and outdoor seating. Little nervous about their graffiti covered bathrooms and changing table.

My wife and I needed some time to catchup and talk about the high stress day we just had. Looking for a place we stumbled on Bistro and it was their happy hour. Wow, great wine selections at a discounted price, perfect atmosphere to enjoy a conversation, super attentive bartender and the Criss Cut Fries with their blue cheese sauce... More

went here for dinner as a treat for my son, was sat outside on patio area. Service was slow and food when it arrived was cold. Although was supplied with replacement meal I was very disappointed with this restaurant Thought it would be much better as there is so much competition locally. Won't be going there again or recommending it... More

Mother's Day brunch was a delight of tasty options. For a meeting place for friends it has appeal for lunch or dinner. If you want fun and the young crowd, join them for one of their happy hour events. If you want a quiet dinner or lunch they can accommodate. The food is good and the menu has options for... More
