I recently ate at Stonehill and it was worth every penny. The food was delicious! I went with my parents who had a great time simply looking at the impeccable wine list. We had the ahi tuna tartare appetizer and it was so yummy. Our server also brought out some bread with cheese and honey which was great as well.... More

My husband and I took our mothers and siblings (7 of us in total) to dinner at Stonehill two Friday nights ago. We had requested the private dining room if available and not otherwise booked, and they graciously were able to offer that to us free of charge. (Normally it requires a minimum bill of $2500.) Food was as good... More

We had dinner at the Stonehill . I had the pork chop which was overcooked . I should have known this when I had trouble putting my fork into it. WE were celebrating a birthday so I did not want to make a fuss. Anyway, the service was so bad I was afraid I would never get my food back.... More

We had a great time at the stone hill. Of course we dropped a mortgage payment there. But the wine. Food and the view and great for us. If u go. Get an outside table. Take your time and enjoy. And charge it to the underhills!

being an international foodie, likely spoiled the good food from Hong Kong to NYC, from South france to the land of Dolce Vita- italy, our second michael mina experiences continue to be mediocre. our first time was at San francisco. the restaurant has a nice view, but that pretty much all I could say - the bill was towards pricy... This is my third visit to Stonehill and I am always delighted by the experience. I highly recommend the tasting menu. It consists of 5 courses but along the way you will probably have 4 or 5 other things. The menu is inventive the flavors and pairings unique and the portions just right. Impeccable service. Bring your wallet, but you... More

We eat at the Stonehill Tavern every few months. Eating there last weekend, the food was excellent again, but given the summer rush, the service was disjointed. The wine list and the fresh menu is always good, but they should plan a bit better for the large number of diners.

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at The Stonehill Tavern in the St Regis Hotel. We sat out on the patio overlooking the Monarch Beach golf course and Pacific Ocean. Our meal was so creative and delicious. Nothing I would have known how to prepare at home. I had the black cod in a miso broth and my... More

This is a very costly restaurant that does not deliver a quality dining experience. The two bites that constitute the hamachi appetiser were pleasant. The lamb was overcooked and the kitchen refused to acknowledge it and sent the plate back-now overcooked and cold. The salmon was so overcooked it had the texture of sawdust. The potatoes had the texture of... More

We had dinner at Stonehill after reading some good reviews. We were on time for our reservation and were seated right away. Booths were available but they sat us at a table in the midst of an endless stream of servers, runners, managers and bussers. There was almost always someone buzzing around us. However it still took about 20 minutes... More
