STONEHILL TAVERN

The place is located within the confines of the St. Regis Hotel. Very upscale, expensive and delightful. You will not regret dining there. Also, everthing is very tasteful and scrumpous.Try it!

Unfortunately we are confronted today with a celebrity chef beginning to open up restaurants everywhere. They're not there cooking and turn over the responsibility often to people who cook by numbers. This restaurant is extremely expensive and the food extremely terrible and service very mediocre. A hotel of this caliber should get a chef who is the important thing not... More

While the food was tasty, the wait for the food was a lot longer than anticipated. A lot of food per serving, could easily share several dished on the menu. Good wine selection.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, we had a variety of selections chosen by the Captain and Chef. Delicious! The Captain and servers were very attentive, the Chef came by and spoke with us, he was very gracious and his food was as creative as it was tasty. The Captain made sure we had everything we needed, and... More

Firstly, beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and view. Unfortunately, it's just too big for it's britches. Acts top class, but does not have the food nor service to back it up. This is the type of place you assume must be great because they have a $95.00 steak, but the steak is no good. Kind of makes me mad... More

From the phone reservation until the end of dessert and the nice couple we talked to sitting next to us it was amazing. This was the first fine dining experience for my daughter and we did it right. Our service was perfection. We didn't ask for anything. Our hostess offered to bring black napkins because we were wearing black dresses... More

The seating set up is difficult for a romantic dinner away. The food is good, but not incredible. If you make a reservation ask for a private booth, they have about 4 of them, everything else is loud and noisy

Stonehill Tavern is located inside one of the finest hotels in Southern California. I would not expect anything less than exceptional food and service - at The St. Regis Resort & Spa. Oh and don't get me started on the Spa Gaucin (best overall I've ever experienced, across the globe). I'll write another review for that particular luxury event. I... More

Amazing halibut and seafood! The chef heard it was my grandma's birthday and brought us some free salmon belly appetizer that melted in your mouth. And the chocolate cake with cocoa nibs ice cream is probably the best dessert I have ever had - and believe me I've had plenty. Shout out to Thomas our waiter, he is amazing and... More

We've eaten here 5 times. Every time the food has been excellent. But this is the second time that the service has been terrible. Our entrees arrived over two hours after we sat down at the table. The sommelier forgot about the second bottle of wine that we ordered. We had to ask the waitress to bring it. We waited... More
