Pleasing portions on the Patio

Nice to sit outside on a warm day in February. Glad we like dogs (we don't have one) because they are welcome here, having their own water bowl and dog bone!! My husband had French toast and a tasty ham slice. He said both were good. I am not a breakfast eater so I had a Reuben sandwich, French... read more

We eat here several times while visiting each year. I just discovered that they have the most excellent fish dishes on the rear and not very expensive. I had cod, excellent. My guest had salmon, also excellent. Sandwiches are very good, salads good and what can I say, whatever you're hungry for, this place has it all. It's in the... More

No, not the clams, the CLAM! My aunt and I went to Dana Point Harbor seeking a breeze on this unseasonably hot day in March and a nice lunch to catch up with family news. She spotted a parking space right in front of The Brig, so we decided to eat there. My aunt ordered the soup and salad, and... More

We found this restaurant quite by chance and will definitely come back again. We were a party of eight looking for breakfast and were seated on the patio with no problem. The food came quickly and was very good. The portions were very generous! The prices were reasonable and the service very good. Highly recommended.

The Brig had good food, large portions, and friendly fast service. We had the luxury of eating outside on the patio. My husband and I had the fish and chips...plenty to share. My daughters hamburger was juicy and done to perfection. Our granddaughter had the clam chowder and loved it. We enjoyed our experience and suggest trying this restaurant.

We had 7 in our group - 4 adults and 3 kids. Our server was very helpful. She helped us to get the best value for the money. Coffee was very good. Restaurant was clean and attractively decorated. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I wish I could do 2 1/2 stars, but alas, I'll be kind and round up. I had dinner here... The food and service was inconsistent. Our waitress was a bit rude but the other attendants were really nice. Some of the food was poorly prepared and other stuff was really good. Hence the 2 1/2 star desire because it... More

They allow dogs. A little strange -- but they were all well behaved. The breakfasts are excellent. Ask for avocados with your meal. The croissants are good. Prices reasonable.

Three of us had a Tuesday lunch at The Brig. We were seated without delay in a comfortable booth. Two of us had their big 1/2 lbs. burgers and the third had a French Dip Sandwich. The burgers were done as ordered and were tasty and presented well. Likewise with the French Dip. Our server was friendly and efficient. All... More

We liked the friendly atmosphere, but the food needed more flavor. Also, I had ordered some soup, which the waitress forgot to bring. We had to wait a while for our check, too.
