Actually, the view is the best, much better than Chart House next door because of the huge windows looking onto the harbor. We like the bar menu for its many options.

We've been regulars at Cannons for years, and just thought it was time to say the food is excellent. Managing partner Greg and his staff have really stepped-up their game. Happy Hour is remarkable, overlooking the harbor.

It was raining the day that we ate at Cannons and the patio was not open. We had happy hour in the restaurant. I cannot say enough about the beautiful view - it is incredible. Unfortunately, the food was terrible and the service was not much better. I would recommend this restaurant for drinks only.

We all agree that Cannons Seafood Grill has a spectacular view of the Dana Point Harbor. BUT what a scam to offer you jumbo/large shrimp from Mexico for $24.00.....all six of them that could easily be eaten in one bite each!! I almost laughed when they were served to me!! Cannons has great views of the harbor and is walking distance from the Blue Lantern Inn. The food was good, but not amazing.

This is the place to eat when you are in Dana Point. I've been to wedding receptions here also and they do a fantastic job. Ask for a window seat and take in the scenery. Seafood is fresh and prepared well. Service is quick and attentive. Better for couples and adult groups, but even kids will enjoy the place.
