RJ's offers great value and plenty of local color. A little attitude with that meal? Actually, the attitude is all in jest and adds a great deal to the enjoyment of RJ's. Only open for breakfast and lunch so plan accordingly. Speaking of planning, while there is plenty of room inside and out, if you go on the weekend plan... More

Huevos Rancheros are the best we've had. Eggs Benedict are equally as good. Service is top notch and you can eat inside or outside under umbrellas. Across the street from the Harbor.

My son sister and I enjoyed lunch at RJs. My son had the kid's mac n cheese which looked and tasted like Kraft. My sister and I both ordered tuna salad. The tuna salad was nicely prepared with celery dill onion and mayo which was nicely proportioned. The fresh fruit cup was a nice mix of grapes strawberries melon and... More

RJ's is tucked behind a larger restaurant on Golden Lantern across street from El Torito in Dana Point. They have the best huevos rancheros we've ever had. They have a large variety of breakfast choices and pricing is very reasonable. They have an added feature of outside dining and you can bring your small dog along to share the experience.... More

This is a great little diner with one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I had the cinnimon roll french toast and it was amazing! We even went back 2 days in a row. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. The service was the best! Our waitress was so nice and truly a sweetheart. Maybe that is... More

This is an OK breakfast spot that "used" to be great. As the shopping area has overtaken it with additional big restaurants it has not kept up with the surroundings. Hard to find parking from a lack of planning it is not worth the hassle.

This place is always busy, mostly locals and always delicious food and huge portions. That said, the service is consistently good, the food is hot and served quickly, for how busy they are, and everyone seems to know someone inside. Friendly vibe and 'Really Jumping'. I've only been here for breakfast but it has been very good each time. You... More

The best part of our dining experience was being able to sit outside in the balmy weather for more than 2 hours catching up with our friends. The food was o.k. but nothing special. Two of us had the fish tacos but while the fish was good the accompaniments were quite bland. One of us had eggs Benedict and that... More

I was super skeptical of RJ's before we went but I quickly realized I had no need to be skeptical once I stepped inside and saw a pan of fresh cinnamon rolls cooling on the counter. My husband and I split a hot-out-of-the-oven cinnamon roll and then I ordered the veggie eggs benedict with sauce on the side. All of... More

This is a great place for breakfast. Eggs cooked the way you want, plus exotic specials that are out of my calorie range!! Great service and quality food at reasonable prices. Enjoy.
