There is no need to go into the high end restaurants for good seafood at Dana Point. Jon's Fish Market clearly had the best fish and chips in the area. Even the locals agree that this is the place to go. It's very casual, but very welcoming. Not a huge menu, but our group had everything from a salad to... More

Our favorite "local" hangout for Fried Clam Strips - none of the major restaurants in Dana Point Harbor have them on their menus! Nothing fancy - you order at the counter and pick up your order when called!

We split a grilled fish meal...it was excellent...good cole slaw; fresh and made to order fish and fries. Will go back. NOT on the harbor, but worthwhile nonetheless.

Deep fried fish and chips with an overpriced fish market. Indoor outdoor seating ( watch out for sea bird thieves) makes it ok for the tourists surrounded with little shops and ice cream places. Get there early as they don't change the cooking oil and you'll end up with unusually dark colored fish.

Reasonably priced, good service, good quality and big portions. unless you are very hungry, one order of fish and chips combo is plenty for two people.

my husband went here for fish and got smoked salmon as well as ordered fish and fries. Ate all of that and then got another huge piece of smoked salmon to take on the go. Said it was delicious, good prices and fish and fries were awesome!

The fish, in the fish and chip,s is fresh and very good. Batter is a bit heavy & greasy. Fries weren't crisp. Cole slaw was average, maybe a little heavy on the mayo. Huge portions. Economical prices. Typical dock-marina decor with picnic tables
