Sunny harbor vistas from most every table. Two outdoor patios (seek a table under an umbrella if it’s too sunny) and no pushy waiters. You can spend an hour or three without the feeling of urgency that you might find in other places offering such wonderful surroundings. Good selection of well presented entrées at reasonable prices. OK food in a good location on the island of Dana Point harbour more

Although the view and setting were excellent, the lunch service was extremely slow. We were seated before the crowd came in and still had to wait over 45 minutes for our food. We enjoyed meals on two nights at the Beach House in mid March 2006. We enjoyed both meals... both time we took advantage of the sunset menu that ended at 6:30pm. Since we were still on EST clock the early meal fit in nicely with our need for sleep. The items we had from the sunset menu were really great... more

The Beach House is situated on the edge of the marina, offering indoors and patio seating. The indoor seating looks out into the marina where rows of boats idle on the water. Loved this place. The setting is beautiful, right on the Dana Point Harbor and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The entrance is like something out of South Pacific, with waterfalls, small lagoons and an exotic motif. The wine and food are reasonably priced and the staff was very helpful and discreet. A nice place to dine with that special someone. more
