This is by far the best Italian restaurant in the area. Incredible value, superb service, excellent ambience, and an interesting menu.

Luciana's has a classic Italian feel to it. There are several rooms which gives a feel of intimacy, and service is outstanding. Staff is always present, yet it is unobtrusive, and it feels very comfortable. And the presence of the owner is evident, each time we were there he stopped by our table to ask about our dinner. We had... More

My family and I had dinner at Luciana"s once during our Christmas holiday. My chicken parmesan was exceptional and my son's seafood rigatoni dish in cream sauce left him happily satiated. However my husband and my son's girlfriend should have sent back the less than satisfactory veal parmesan as the veal was rubbery and needed a steak knife to cut... More

We had one of the first seatings so it was really quiet in there, nice little spot for dinner. Food was very good and the service was fast but not rushed. Again, might have been owed to the fact that we had one of the first seatings. But the food was excellent and the service was great as well. Bread... More

People we met in Dana Point said Luciana's had the 'best food west of New York.' We guess they hadn't been west of NY too often. Luciana's was pleasant and the food was better than satisfactory but not of a 'standout' standard.

This a real Italian Rest. that serves tratditional foods as well. The place does not open til 5:30p and that is some what of a hinderance to some. The bar is small but the bartener "MARCUS" is great. You can eat at the bar as well but you must get in early for it fills fast. There is plenty of room... More

Very nice, friendly, accommodating and professional hostess sat us immediately at our table. Request DALE to be your server. He is knowledgeable about menu items, and informed us when something (such as bleu-cheese-stuffed olives or their INCREDIBLY GOOD garlic bread) would take a few extra minutes so we didn't sit there wondering where he went. Bus boys very attentive, removing... More

This is a good restaurant in Dana Point but the service is starting to fade. A few years ago, I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here and service and food was great. The other night, however, the service was just so-so. Our waiter was gruff and inattentive but the food was still good. Our reservations were honored within about 10... More
