Very nice, friendly, accommodating and professional hostess sat us immediately at our table. Request DALE to be your server. He is knowledgeable about menu items, and informed us when something (such as bleu-cheese-stuffed olives or their INCREDIBLY GOOD garlic bread) would take a few extra minutes so we didn't sit there wondering where he went. Bus boys very attentive, removing... More

This is a good restaurant in Dana Point but the service is starting to fade. A few years ago, I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here and service and food was great. The other night, however, the service was just so-so. Our waiter was gruff and inattentive but the food was still good. Our reservations were honored within about 10... More

Thursday evening reservation at 6:00. Four of us seated immediately at a nice booth that could have held six or eight easily. Great for conversation. Wine list is not extensive but reasonably priced. Server brought water and bread, gave us a rundown on the specials, and gave us time to consider the menu. Two of our party had the fettucine... More

Food was great, reasonable prices for what you get. We got an appetizer for $9 that had 2 caprese (the cheese was very soft - yum), fried calmari and shrimp, and 2 brucshetta. The arugla salad was really refreshing. Got the ravioli which had veal? I think in it.....it was amazing, rich and definitely unique. Lots to choose from. I... More

Luciana's has been a fixture in Dana Point for more than 30 years. It is the gold standard for Italian and Continental cuisine. Great old world atmosphere. Huge helpings. Go hungry...you will not be disappointed!

Food was good, an older woman was playing an accordion all night which was fun. We went on Saturday night and did not have reservations but they were able to seat us immediately in the bar.

We had a wonderful meal at Luciana's. It has rustic charm that makes you feel like you've landed in a Tuscan farmhouse. A great little bar and excellent sauce. I don't think you could make a poor choice on their menu. Ask about the specials and what the staff recommend. Bon Appetito

I was quite happy to try this restaurant again after a lapse of several years. Although I was somewhat disappointed in the dinner overall this is probably more due to my expectations in comparison with nearby Casanova's (usually quite excellent!) than in the actual quality per se. Our dishes were a bit salty for my taste but also nothing memorable.... More

I had my wedding reception here years ago but have known about this place for even longer. This is a great restaurant BUT you must make a reservation. I've not been successful walking in except once in 5 years. The green beans are a specialty and the chicken parmasean are great. I'm rating a three due to availability of seating... More
