Nice, lively restaurant

A neat Italian restaurant very near the Blue Lantern Inn and other hotels in Dana Point. Crowded and lively when we were there. Quite a few families. This Italian restaurant in the Lantern District of Dana Point has a large private dining room. It was able to accommodate our large group of 26 people.

Delicious food and a very romantic setting...intimate tables, a fireplace, and in the warm weather there is a lovely patio too!

We live in town so this has been a favorite for many years. Always consistent: Great Food, Great Service, and a very lovely patio in the summer! Not to miss if you are visiting! TIP: You do need to make reservations!

We moved to OC 6 months ago after having lived in Carmel and North San Diego County. We are extremely disappointed by the restaurants we have visited and this one is no different.

There's a reason it can be difficult to get into Luciana's...the food is sublime! There are many Italian restaurants to choose from but Luciana's is just the best! We tend to eat here more often when we have out of town visitors and they are always blown away with the food here.

We have a Christmas tradition of a multi-generational family gathering in the Dana Point area over the holiday period. We had a great time during our first visit to Luciana's for a family dinner several years ago, and as a result it has become a part of our holiday tradition as well. We returned again recently between Christmas and New... More

We held a group meal here in early December as we stayed nearby at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel. The restaurant was fairly close to the hotel and they had a nice party room that was located in sort of a wine cellar. The food was delicious and the room was perfect for our group of 20.

Unfortunately this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The host was arrogant, obtuse and non-communicative about when we were to be seated. There was another hostess helping, but while we were waiting for our table, I noticed that she had a suitcase of personal belongings underneath the bench where people were waiting to be seated. She opened her suitcase several times to... More

We were staying at blue lantern hotel. It's walking distance. Since we are vegetarian it came well recommended. Loved the food & ambiance.
