Locals "go to place" for coffee, breakfast or lunch

Pain du Monde is more than a good coffee shop. It is consistently good for great and healthy breakfasts and lunches. We (me, my wife, and kids aged 9 and 11) stopped by here for lunch on our way from LA to San Diego. My veggie sandwich on a croissant was simple and excellent - the spinach salad that came with it was dressed with a light but tasty French vinaigrette. My wife liked it too. My kids both had a... Great snacks, lunches, coffees, teas, smoothies, etc. at very reasonable prices. A nice place to get a quick breakfast on the go!

This was a horrible experience. The staff were rude and the food was terrible. I liked the location close to the beach and our hotel but disliked everything that we ordered, the high prices and rude staff.

I had the Pesto and Eggs and it was excellent. Everything on the menu looked great. They have a very nice outside area to sit outside and enjoy the sun while you eat. Highly recommend. It is right mix of low key, good service, great vibe and excellent food.

Huge portion had to split it with my hubby. Made fresh on order! Outside that pretty average coffee cafe with outdoor and indoor seating.

We stopped here several days while staying at a hotel across the street. Breakfast was great and the cookies and snacks were delicious.

We ate here a few times during our stay at Dana Point. It was a great spot for lunch after the beach. The café is lovely bright, clean & modern. As others have already said the salads & sandwiches are excellent. Service was good also.
