Surprisingly good, fresh food

Atmosphere of a large old fashion coffee shop with lots of booths and tables. Food was quite good. I had a salmon salad which consisted of fresh grilled salmon with carmalized onions over fresh raw spinach, tomatoes, feta cheese & my choice of dressing. Lots of variety on the menu. Offers... read more

When in doubt, when we cannot all agree where to go, we go to Boulevard. When we want a sure thing, somewhere that will always be good, with good service, with an interesting menu, we go to Boulevard. The Greek salad, (village style, without lettuce) is my favorite, sometimes instead of a lamb burger (sometimes with one). The avgolemono soup... More

This was my first time at Boulevard Café. I had the Tuna Melt with fries. It was listed on the menu to be served on wheat toast but I was given 7 Grain bread. That was a plus! it was very good! I missed the breakfast menu by an hour. The service was excellent. The Atmosphere could use a little... More

We are so pleased that about 10 years ago the Boulevard opened near us. They have a terrific breakfast menu with my favorite being corn beef hash and eggs. They also are fine for lunch and dinner, and always have a Greek soup (avgolemeno) which of course is a chicken rice soup with a lemon flavor. Full bar which serves... More

We stopped by Boulevard Cafe for dinner before heading to SFO. The host promptly seated us. The dining room was clean, lively, and well lit. I had the delicious lamb burger. It was tender and cooked the way I asked for. My friend had the Greek salad and enjoyed it. The servers were attentive and professional. They brought water and... More

Went in for lunch. I ordered a Coke to drink and got a Pepsi without any comment. If I'd known that they have Pepsi, I would have ordered something else. I had the fish and chips and my husband the meatloaf. The fish was ok, but a bit greasy. The Caesar salad looked strangely brown, took a few seconds until... More

Food is good, with large portion sizes. Decor is dated, but the real secret is when it's busy, especially weekend brunch (and if you don't have kids), go sit in the bar/lounge. Same food, usually faster service because it's a smaller area and no screaming kids because you have to be 21 to sit in the area.
