Amazing casual dining

The restaurant is known for "uni spagheti", which is a must-try. The spagheti is done just right, not too soft nor too hard. The sauce is flavorful and of the right consistency. It's thick enough to coat the spagheti strand yet not sticky or junky. I had scallop risotto which is also excellent... read more

Unique decor. Delicious food with a flair of Japanese essence! The soups are always very tasty! Go early for lunch; gets crowded quickly. Worth a try!

You wouldn't think a tiny hidden resto serves such wonderful dishes, most of which are Asian inspired. Ambiance is casual and cozy, feels like a neighborhood Italian cafe. Three of us went for a dinner; we had a scallop carpaccio, crispy fried tofu with apple ginger sauce (yum!), shumai dumpling as an app, then my entree was a sea bass... More

I was fortunate to try this restaurant yesterday. It is very different because it has several cultural influences in the preparation of food. It is not a big place, but it is well worth a visit. It has Japanese influence, but yet has influences of 2 other cultures. For a unique experience, I certainly would recommend it.

Traditionally, we have come to not expect much from restaurants located in strip malls or small shopping centers, but this place is definitely an exception. It has several local, repeat guests so you know they are doing something right. This Asian based eatery puts its own spin on a number of delicious dishes. Their dinner selection includes beef, pork, fish... More

I found this place when looking for a restaurant that served good uni pasta. And I must say, this place does uni pasta justice! I have also had the Chilean Sea Bass with mushroom risotto and it was amazing. The sea bass just melts in the mouth and the risotto was creamy and cheesy. My mouth is watering just thinking... More

We stayed at the hotel next door and didn't intend to eat at Cafe Hiro but we're glad we did! The interior and the menu reminded me of a "kissaten" in Japan. Right away we saw ume shiso spaghetti on the menu and knew we had to order that, and the sea bass with mushroom risotto was on special so... More
