This is a very casual restaurant - almost run like a fast-food place. You walk to the back to read the mounted printed menus, place your order, pay and your food is brought to your table. I ordered a taco ( 2 very small tortillas -plenty of filling), A shared chicken salad which was very large, and a shared guacamole/chips.... More

A good option in this area. No table service. Good tacos and simple Mexican dishes, decent salsa bar and chips. Free wifi too!

Best Mexican food in the area, with tasty, fresh prepared meals served at a really reasonable price. Fresh salsa bar rounds out this gem… have loved this place for years!

We love Rio Adobe. The Chicken Tortilla Soup is just awesome as are a variety of their special tacos and other dishes. They have a chip/salsa table with at least a dozen different salsas from mild to very hot. All good. Great atmosphere with my only complaint being the parking. There aren't enough spaces and the space that are there... More

Decent food and good selection. It is a bit healthier than your average Mexican joint, and pretty well ran, however, the taste does fall a bit short and the sauces are a little disappointing. Nothing to complain about, and the prices are reasonable, but think a place like La Vic's or Iguana's would be a better choice if you already... More

I eat lunch at Rio Adobe about once a week and it is always good. Nice sized portions at reasonable prices. I like the chicken enchiladas Christmas style with an egg on top. They have a great salsa bar with 8 distict salsas. For a dessert treat order the sopapillas. You will be taking some home because it is a... More

Rio Adobe is a great little place to get take-out. The staff is consistently really nice and the food is delicious. I love their quesadillas, especially the daily specials. The only negative here is the lack of space. It is really difficult to navigate between the tables. Even standing in line to order is squishy.

A trip south on Skyline Blvd. found us in Cupertino and hungry one afternoon. We pulled into Rio Adobe in hopes of finding something tasty, and were rewarded. Everything we ordered was fresh, spicy and delicious and the service quick and friendly. Simple place, simply great!

From the Hopi Blue Corn Enchiladas to the Heirloom Tomato Quesdadilla, the food here is excellent. The Taos Tossed House Salad is perfect for splitting along with a quesadilla for lunch. My hiking group and lunch group both eat here frequently, and each person can find a dish she loves. We enjoy the soapapillas for dessert but try to resist!... More
