This place is great for Udon and Tapas, but beware, its gets incredibly busy during lunch and dinner and the parking lot is not very large. That said, once you get your food, you will experience udon nirvana and a great combination of flavors that is hard to find outside of Asia.

I went to this place for dinner on a week day with friends and we had great experience. The food was good and service was good as well. The cost is very high but the place is jammed. I was not chased in to the parking lot for 20% tip.

Food is ok but not excellent. When we went for dinner in the weekend, we didn't get any attention from the server for 15 min after we sat on the table. After we left the restaurant, the server found us in the parking lot and asked to put at least 20% of tip (We only put 10% because we felt... More

This restaurant offers a variety of Japanese Tapas dishes we have not sampled before. All were amazingly good. Nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Every dish we ordered was yummy. I especially loved the fried eggplant in miso soup. Also ordered a couple of sushi dishes and they were all quite good. Love the concept of the place which has seemed to work very well. The restaurant was packed!

This is the second time my husband and I have eaten here after just stumbling on the place. We have loved everything ordered so far. The cod special this evening was especially good. The first chicken dish on the regular menu is great. We also really like the rice balls. Cocktails with Sochu-- very refreshing- I am a vodka girl-... More

Having lived in Japan I will tell you that this is very authentic Japanese food. First off make a reservation. Secondly you will be sitting on the floor. They do offer about four tables with chairs so if you require that please add that in your reservation. What's unique is when you sit on the floor under the short table... More

This is a really good Japanese restaurant. The Sushi is very very good and fresh. Whats even better is the cooked items on the menu. They have a decent selection of sake as well. Service is a bit slow but overall ok. I highly recommend this for the quality of food and is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Cupertino.

Gochi is so highly rated on Yelp that it really drove my expectations up. Thankfully, I was not disappointed :) Make sure you make a reservation if you plan on having dinner on a weekend night in Gochi, since the place fills up pretty fast. My boyfriend had to call about 5 times throughout the day before someone finally picked... More

If you really want something different, try Gochi! Amazingly good fusion tapas. A wonderful variety of preparations - stir fry, fried, salads, pizzas (yes pizzas), broiled nabes, etc. The clay pot rice bowls are excellent. There are tables, floor seating (with leg cutouts) and tatami rooms. Variety of beers & sochu. Be sure to make reservations for dinner. New Mt.... More
