The restaurant was nice but quite busy and noisy. The service was good, but felt the steak cut was a little gristly. I've had worse, but also better. The price at around $50 was a bit high considering this, but it was cooked correctly as I asked go it. Overall good night, if a little expensive for what you get.

Very good steak but it is priced that way. The service was good but very crowded and a bit noise. Valet parking is too expensive. .

This was, quite simply, a delicious meal, and a delicious steak. There was a little bit of trying to be too cute, but some of it I honestly enjoyed (complimentary lime cotton candy for dessert). The steak was flawless, as were the salad and sides (don't remember what I had). And honestly, for $85 including tip (I don't drink, so... More

Alexander's is a very expensive restaurant. Along with good food, one expects the best service to make a dining experience worth the price. We intentionally chose this restaurant because we were yearning for an elegant and up-scale interlude. We came with no reservations so decided to eat at the bar. Our bartender was quite nice but his fellow bartender sarcastically... More

I had salmon and hubby had the merlot filet mignon! Ohhh they melted in our mouths, cooked to perfection. Bread baked in-house, and knowledgeable servers. We were treated like special guests.

This restaurant is five-star in my book, one of the best steakhouses I have visited in a long time. Impressive wait staff and wait area. They are knowledgeable about the menu and wines. The food was excellent. The hamachi shot is highly recommendable. Everyone in our party had steak. All prepared to our liking and great quality. The wine recommendation... More

Great food and service. The neighborhood however is not really restaurant like. The let this spot deceive the food and the experience of the restaurant which I found really good. By the way you do not have to order the Kobe beef you can enjoy looking at it on the way in.

My husband and I loved this place a few years ago when we came here. My husband was in San Jose over the weekend for business so I joined him to come here for dinner. Things were not great from the start. We were seated in a small room with one other large very loud party. When a women and... More

When we approached the neighborhood, we thought "oh no, we have made a terrible mistake...this can't be any good" but then we walked in the front door. Sophisticated ambiance, nice bar and waiting lounge, superb, I mean superb, service and food to die for. The cocktails and beer lists are extensive, as is the wine list. Prepare to spend a... More

Alexander's Steakhouse in Cupertino, Ca is a place to GO FOR DINNER WHEN YOU ARE NOT IN A RUSH! The ambiance is very nice. The staff is nice and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. I liked the cheeseplate & lambchop appetizers. The side dishes (mashed potatoes, maccaroni & cheese, creamed spinach) were good. My ribeye steak was cooked... More
