UK Pub Fare in Cupertino

When you walk in it looks like an old pub in the UK. Food is not fancy but is good with good portions. The have traditional pub fare, bangers and mash, fish n chips various pies as well as other less traditional food. Pare it with an ale from the tap and it makes for a filling lunch or dinner

The Duke offers a limited menu of British pub food and an extensive collection of brews as befits a decent pub. The food is good and is promptly served by attentive waiters. This is one of the few restaurants where I can find steak and kidney pie, not everyone's favorite but a dish that I like.

Good for a beer and a quick feed. Don't expect a classy place, just run of the mill old English style pub. Very nice staff, good beers and reasonable prices

While staying in the Courtyard for few days, I had to take some food outside the restaurant. The pub is really hidden between parking lot and the Asia mall (3 minutes walk from both hotels). Menu offers large varities of irish specialies + other international dishes. I had the Sheperds pie with vegetable. It was very good. Friendly service. Reasonnable... More

Was staying down the street and stopped by with a colleague for a bite and drink. I was happy with both. For the price and location, I would say it is a fine place. I would not go out of my way to get here, but if you are in the area, why not....

Whether this is authentic or not, I don't know. I've never been to England. However I do know what good service and good food is, so this place works for me. My water and ice tea were never empty, the fish was flaky, crispy, and perfectly done. The fries were fries, but a perfect compliment to the fish. The servers... More

Had a quick lunch and it was quite nice. I had fish and chips and the fish was tasty. My husband had the Cornish Pastie and said it was good. Service was good and we were glad we found it!

Stopped here for drinks while in cupertino. A guiness, a black and tan, some potato skins, and then a few more guiness and black and tans. You get the idea. The decor is a bit dark and heavy, but comfortable. It's suprisingly quiet for a pub. Sit at the bar and enjoy chatting with the excellent and attentive bar staff,... More

I've been to the Duke on several occasions with friends and co-workers. It's always great fun to hang out for happy hour and beyond and put some tunes on the jukebox. I've also eaten there a couple of times and had the fish and chips, it was hot and fresh but pretty average from a flavor perspective.

Went for lunch, walked from Hilton garden inn. Good fish and chips. Good service. Four Brits at bar having a pint or two talking the "real" football, the World Cup I liked this place. Read reviews saying not authentic English pub, but felt like it to me, and better than many pubs I have been to in UK Check it... More
